Hostal El Triunfo in Cordoba

Great little Hostal with a private room with bathroom. View of a quiet street from the window. Quiet at night. Stayed four nights. Great location. Friendly staff. Rooms and building have lovely colonial character. No problems with the WiFi. Good price of around 40 Euro per night.

It's a nice, clean, modern looking hostel and not too expensive on top of that. Breakfast is included and lunch and dinner are available for an add on price. All meals are buffet style so you can be sure of enough food if you are a big eater! If you use Google maps, don't try driving directly to the hostel like Google maps told us to!!! A road does go past it but you have to pass a ticket machine like they have in parking garages at the mouth of the street.The road is only 1 lane, very narrow, and is crowded with shops and tourists. It's possible to get through since we did it but I don't recommend it. There is parking nearby up the street from plaza Campo Santo de los Martires.

We loved our 2 night stay at Séneca Hostel. The room was basic, but the setting is wonderful. The patios downstairs and on the roof are great, and it is good to be able to get a drink or a reasonably priced breakfast. The location is very handy for seeing this fantastic city.
