I left the pension after discovering the room. Though the bathroom was good, the room was dusty, but what really upset me was the window over the street that could not be closed properly. So yeah, I was supposed to sleep in this noisy room, while a man outside began to play the guitar with a slightly out of tune voice to accompany his Spanish pop music chords. I was about to accept my fate with the help of my loyal ear plugs. But as I was about to leave the room for a well-earned dinner with my girlfriend after a 4 hours trip from Grenada, casually slipping my keys in my pocket, I was called out by the owner. After a few seconds of puzzlement (she did not speak English, nor did try to do so), recalling my fuzzy memories of high school Spanish, I understood that… I was supposed to leave her the key. To our room. With all our luggage inside. That was definitely a no-no. So yeah, we grabbed our stuff and left on the spot, after booking for another hotel 10 min away for the same price and with much more welcoming rooms.

We found this property very clean and we were welcomed by the host. Juan Carlos was very helpful to us and was available if needed. Our beds were comfortable and the shared bathrooms were small but clean and adequate!
There were many cafes within close proximity with a variety of foods.

The room smell of strong mold
My recent stay at this hotel was unfortunately very disappointing. The room had a terrible, strong smell of mold that gave me a headache. I asked to be moved to a different room, but the request was denied.
I found communicating with the staff to be very difficult, as they didn't speak any English. We had to rely on Google Translate for all of our communication.
To add to the discomfort, the bed was very hard and the pillow was of poor quality. Due to all of these issues, I cannot recommend this hotel.

bad hard bed in damp room no drawers and cupboard is musty . no where to put any items no outside window and shower poor for older people to use electrics dangerous concierge staff very poor . do no use this hotel iti is very dark and depressing. not cheap either . jean barker aged 87

It is in a central location, not far from the train station. The room was small and there is only one bathroom for all the rooms (8, I think). It's ok for one night but that's it. Nothing else to add. Nothing else to say. Nothing else to add. Nothing else to say.

My issue with this pension so far is that i pressed "send" to reserve / pre pay and realised that i would have a problem arriving on that date... i emailed immediately ; no response within 12 hours. I emailed again - no response in the following 24 hours. Here we are two weeks later, no response whatever from Pension Javier

Woud not reccomend it, yes its a cheap offer but this doesnt worth a 5e and not even more. Basic old rooms with window litteraly on street, noise from curch where there is construction work from 7 am. Host not interested in any need of guest. They painted inside bath before we arrived and we got bath with fresh paint inside... If you wabt to get in you shoud ring bell but only once because someone in first room is sleeping lol. Dirty and rusty furniture... Never again here!!

If your a tourist please do not come and eat here owner is very rude , they confused our plates and came after to complain that we ate it . How are we supposed to know what our meal is? First time here ! Este lugar no sirve para nada la persona encargada tiene un actitude bien feo y la comida no sirve para nada te cobran por el estilo más que todo !

You can trust what I wrote. I will never ever visit this place again. I went to this place because I felt like having Ramen when I saw the picture of the Ramens which were outside of the restaurant. But when I tried to order it, they said they don't have it. Pretty ridiculous. FYI, They only have one type of Ramen. And I ordered Kyoza which was the worst Kyoza(5 pieces) of my life. It was the smallest and half full of air. (And it costs 5 euros. Genial!). If you are willing to get ripped off, this place is highly recommended. I give 1 stars because the servers were nice. But for the food I would definitely give none.

I am from Asia, of course Asia's people favourite mostly noodles soup. I was exited to find this restaurant closed to the hotel, how could I say. I never come back to this restaurant just because the soup wasn't taste, anyways hopefully they will cook by heart in the future.

The flamenco performance there was outstanding. They had male performers on at the time and the guy was really good at what he did. You could see from his every move that he was 110% in his own element.
Place itself is quite modest with long tables and cheap stools but i guess it gives it little bit of charm in a way.
Recommend this place for a visit if you are interested of some local culture.

It's not surprising that this place is recommended by all the guides. Here you can see flamenco for almost free. Of course it's full of tourists but it still an excellent place to discover flamenco at an affordable price. Come early if you want to have seats

Try the "Berenjenas fritas con Queso de cabra gratinado y Miel", fried eggplant with goat cheese and honey. Fantastic. Hamburguesa de buey, an open-faced meatball on bread, was tasty and perfectly cooked. Curry de pollo was something of a failure and obviously used pre-made curry powder.
