Hotel Palafox in Zaragoza

In an excellent location in the middle Zaragoza this hotel is a bit worn down. You can see and feel the “old days” but a remake would help as well.
Extremely lengthy check-in process. Everything else was fine.

We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel for nearly a week in July, and we just returned home a week ago, which speaks volumes about how much we enjoyed our time there. The hotel's exceptional staff were friendly and helpful. Its prime location allows for easy access to restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping, making it an ideal choice for anyone looking to explore the charming city of Zaragoza. I highly recommend this hotel for your visit.

The bathroom facilities are outdated. The hotel's underground parking fee is reasonable.

This is a very popular hotel in Zaragoza, with a good environment and a good location. Good service and good food. I was on a business trip here for a week and booked a hotel conference room. It's very good in all aspects. I will definitely stay here next time I have the chance. At the same time, I also recommend this hotel to friends who come here to play.

Impressive hotel in the public spaces and very nicely located close to Old Town.

However we found our room (727) lacking in five star ness and we were a little disappointed (faded glory). Our room had a few maintenance problems (big coffee stain on one chair, damaged sharp metal trim on table) and was a bit jaded with stains on the walls and wood.

The rooms on the 7th floor are very old fashioned and really need a spruce up. We think they might be reserved for those who book through the likes of booking dot com (as we did). We have stayed in better and more modern rooms in three and four star hotels.

Saying all of that - we pointed out the problems to the staff and what could be fixed was sorted while we were out during the day, so top marks for customer service.

The room size was great and the bathroom very spacious.

They do have a car park under the hotel. 23€ a day. Big parking spaces, but a bit tight getting round corners and on the ramps.

All in all a good stay made better by the excellent staff and service.
