The hotel's location is perfect, with a magnificent view of the Cantabrian Sea. I won't review its amenities, as I didn't stay there. I tried the cafeteria, and the waiters were very attentive and friendly. They even gave us a mini spit for our dog, who was very happy, as you can see from the photos. The latte was very good and creamy. The shashlik was very rich. The atmosphere was wonderful. We were well-groomed on the terrace.

We just spent three nights at Hotel La Colina in Gijon, Spain. I have to say it’s been the highlight of our European trip. The location is secluded outside of town, but you can get into town in 10 minutes. We ate breakfast in the cafeteria every morning and the food and service was wonderful. The rooms were great, the views are fantastic, along with the hiking paths and best of all the staff were some of the friendliest people we’ve met on our trip. Highly recommended, and we will be back.

A lovely clean, comfortable hotel with friendly welcoming staff in an amazing clifftop location with coastal views. We stayed for 3 nights and would have happily stayed longer. There are clifftop walks in both directions but we would recommend the walk East to Playa Nora. Staff could not have been more helpful and made us feel very much at home.

Definitely off the beaten path but within a 10min drive from the city. Beautiful view of the ocean and surrounding cliffs, and walking trails with secluded access down to different little beaches and lookout points right outside of the hotel. The rooms were large and clean but outdated and minimal otherwise. The location alone is worth the stay if you’re interested in nature.
