4 star hotels in Gijon

Just stay here...stop looking! Beautiful hotel, great rooms (especially the suites!), and low, low rates! If you're an expat and are looking for a nice, comfortable, clean and modern hotel, this is it! Also, cappuccino and sandwiches until 11 on site with a fabulously friendly and helpful staff. If I could give 6 stars, I would!

We spent two nights here. The minibar was not restocked. The dirty cups were not replaced. We had to ask reception for clean mugs for our tea on the second night. Hard to believe this is a four star hotel.

Staff great and room absolutely spotless. Shower really powerful and much needed to relax before a comfortable night's sleep. Gorgeous hotel.

More a business hotel than a tourist hotel. Rooms and bathroom are good. Staff not very friendly, not helped by a high screen and monitor at front desk. They did give us a map of city and list of restaurants. Wi-Fi very poor. Access to indoor pool was limited to 1 hour per day. Won’t return

Great hotel. Only big issue was the AC is centrally controlled and doesn’t work. The staff can only turn it on. I know this as I stayed with my colleagues and we all experienced the same issue. I spoke to the staff and they claimed they got a repair man in to fix the issue. So i had no AC at night and was very hot. I didn’t sleep well during my stay at the hotel. The hotel, location and rooms are excellent for the price. I was disappointed with the breakfast, mainly continental. There was pre cooked bacon and eggs which was a let down. Bacon undercooked and fried eggs over cooked and dry.

Nice place to stay at in Gijón. Close to the sea front and offers good BF and spacious rooms.

Lovely Hotel ; Really friendly staff. Car parking is an extra €18 per day which is expensive and no Tea and Coffe facilities in the room which is a shame . Still a lovely Clean Hotel

I think this hotel deserves 4/5 stars. We got a newly renovated room, bed was 3,5/5, pillow was very good. Nice big windows. We had to sleep with the window open because a/c was only producing a very hot air, so we had ir turned off. Breakfast was diverse (only missing veggies) and very tasty. Location near the beach and boardwalk. Lovely.

It's not a bad place but when you specify on booking or agoda a queen bed room, and that you get a room with 2 small separated beds, your girlfriend get upset for sure ! Don't know who to blame but the girl at reception was not really cooperative.

It's a nice hotel in a peaceful envirorment really close to the best city views. The restaurant covers a wide variety of the spanish gastronomy with a professional service to serve you. A nice place for a social dinner with your working mates.

Really nice hotel in a perfect location near the beach and the old town. It’s a 10 minute way to the “Calle la Corrida” that it’s full of stores and restaurants. The rooms are big and confortable, some even have a full size jacuzzi. Just a comment based on a mistake I made: the hotel does not have a parking. There is a public parking 8 minutes walking from the hotel.

Rated as a 4 star hotel. Is anything but 4, maybe between 2 and 3. Very old and need of some maintenance. No shower door, no bottled water in room. Towels of very low quality, thin., place was clean. Location was its only asset.

A fairly old, basic hotel, very well located, in need of significant structural maintenance, especially bathrooms. Offers limited food service, which is offset by the multiple dining options in the surrounding area. Overall, price-quality ratio is high, perhaps only justified by its prime location.

We really liked the hotel. The location was great. They need more rooms with showers. We asked if they could give us the only room with a shower, but they gave us one. We booked without breakfast because it seems too expensive at 12 euros per person per night. I would put a mirror in the room. There aren't any. And there's enough wall space to put one. Otherwise, I would definitely return.

Rooms nice and clean. Similar to a premier inn. Location right on the beach. Didn’t have breakfast but located on the top floor with great views. Parking next door in a managed underground location for an additional cost but super close.

We spent 5 days here and we will definitely be returning! The room was very comfortable and very nicely decorated..We were upgraded to a larger room, which was a nice surprise! Exceptionally clean and so was the bathroom. The staff were very helpful and friendly, in particular Angel. They spoke English and coped with our very limited Spanish! Surprisingly disappointing for an AC Marriott. Found ants all over the bed — worse than some 3-star hotels I’ve stayed in. It’s hard to understand why no pest control has been done. After this experience, I won’t be booking AC hotels again

We used this hotel as a stopover while driving to Portugal so it was conveniently located shortly off the highway. It was clean, staff were helpful. Check in was easy. Food was good.

Serv8ce was excelent, the one exception was that air conditioner didn't work to cool the room, even hav8ng the window open.

It was a good stay. Clean rooms, basic amenities like shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, clean towels. Located close to the highway. They have a rear, gated parking lot with enough stalls and an underground lot with few stalls and 4 electric vehicles stalls...

We stayed for one night before driving to Santander for our ferry to Portsmouth. The hotel was lovely and the staff very helpful. We were disappointed at the late opening of the restaurant in the evenings. We personally prefer to eat at 7pm and the restaurant opens at 8.30pm. We had an early start the following morning at 6.30am.

Be sure to request a room with a sea view for the full experience. Our breakfast offered an excellent selection, an attentive waiting staff were always on hand to help or offer cooked dishes. They also serve as knowledgeable concierges, gladly sharing tips on the most important sights you won’t want to miss. Their dedication and professionalism ensure every guest feels genuinely cared for.

The location of this hotel is very good, close to the sea, and you can walk to the beach. The beach in Gijón is very fine, and many people are playing on the beach. There are public parking spaces on the roadside next to the hotel, which are quite sufficient. You can see the sea from the hotel window, which is very comfortable.

Amazing Coastal paseo along the beach We were only here one night but the view from the room was beautiful. Gijón has a paseo along the beach that goes on forever. It was very enjoyable to walk and see all the people and all the dogs.

There are clifftop walks in both directions but we would recommend the walk East to Playa Nora. Staff could not have been more helpful and made us feel very much at home.

What you’d expect from a parador, lovely old building, comfortable rooms & good food. Very handy if you are attending a football match, stadium is around 100m away but there is no noise intrusion. Food in restaurant was excellent.

The building is old but very clean staff are friendly mainly Spanish speaking only. Location is very good for bars, restaurants and promenade. Issued with key and card on arrival. This is a very typical low cost family hotel.

Overall our stay was wonderful and the facility was clean with friendly staff. I would have rated it 5 stars, but we had to switch one of our rooms due to a musty smell. The nee room was great and staff was accommodating.

But felt that the images used to sell the hotel did not reflect the quality of the fittings (vinyl flooring that has seen better days) or the experience of the room (at least not the one we were given).
