Hotel Silken Ciudad Gijon

Gijon, C/ Bohemia, 1 (in the centre) 🧭

Just stay here...stop looking! Beautiful hotel, great rooms (especially the suites!), and low, low rates! If you're an expat and are looking for a nice, comfortable, clean and modern hotel, this is it! Also, cappuccino and sandwiches until 11 on site with a fabulously friendly and helpful staff. If I could give 6 stars, I would!

We spent two nights here. The minibar was not restocked. The dirty cups were not replaced. We had to ask reception for clean mugs for our tea on the second night. Hard to believe this is a four star hotel.

Staff great and room absolutely spotless. Shower really powerful and much needed to relax before a comfortable night's sleep. Gorgeous hotel.

Great modern hotel with spacious room, nice bathroom, shower etc. It is conveniently located right near train station (5 min walk). Staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful experience.

More a business hotel than a tourist hotel. Rooms and bathroom are good. Staff not very friendly, not helped by a high screen and monitor at front desk. They did give us a map of city and list of restaurants. Wi-Fi very poor. Access to indoor pool was limited to 1 hour per day. Won’t return

Great hotel. Only big issue was the AC is centrally controlled and doesn’t work. The staff can only turn it on. I know this as I stayed with my colleagues and we all experienced the same issue. I spoke to the staff and they claimed they got a repair man in to fix the issue. So i had no AC at night and was very hot. I didn’t sleep well during my stay at the hotel. This is my only complaint but the fact...

Zentral Gijón Rey Pelayo

Gijon, Avenida Torcuato Fdez Miranda, 26 (in the centre) 🧭

The hotel, location and rooms are excellent for the price. I was disappointed with the breakfast, mainly continental. There was pre cooked bacon and eggs which was a let down. Bacon undercooked and fried eggs over cooked and dry.

Nice place to stay at in Gijón. Close to the sea front and offers good BF and spacious rooms.

Pretty good location near main attraction points

The room was spotless and the newly renovated

Lovely Hotel ; Really friendly staff. Car parking is an extra €18 per day which is expensive and no Tea and Coffe facilities in the room which is a shame . Still a lovely Clean Hotel

I think this hotel deserves 4/5 stars. We got a newly renovated room, bed was 3,5/5, pillow was very good. Nice big windows. We had to sleep with the window open because a/c was only producing a very hot air, so we had ir turned off. Breakfast was diverse (only missing veggies) and very tasty. Location near the beach and boardwalk. Lovely.

Begoña Park

Gijon, Ctra. de la Providencia, 566 (2 km from centre) 🧭

Lovely hotel set opposite a beautiful park.

Rustic hotel outside of the city center. It shows its age but offers a good stay regardless

Come for the restaurant (see photos). Had a really good dinner tonight at its on-site restaurant. The hotel has a nostalgic feels to it. Secure underground parking. Good customer service, thank you for a relaxing night esp after a quiet stroll by the beachfronts

It's not a bad place but when you specify on booking or agoda a queen bed room, and that you get a room with 2 small separated beds, your girlfriend get upset for sure ! Don't know who to blame but the girl at reception was not really cooperative.

Nice and clean hotel. Size was a bit much, made me feel unforgettable. Location is good, walk for a few minutes and you are at the beach.

It's a nice hotel in a peaceful envirorment really close to the best city views. The restaurant covers a wide variety of the spanish gastronomy with a professional service to serve you. A nice place for a social dinner with your working mates.

Hotel Asturias

Gijon, Plaza Mayor, 11 (in the centre) 🧭

Great hotel. Clean & quiet rooms. Breakfast and lunch menu is great!

Located right at the boulevard of Gijon, hotel Asturia is the ideal startingpoint for your visit to the city. The rooms are old but comfortable and clean. The building has an nice historic feel.

great location, nice walk-able to beach and roman ruins, lots of places to eat

Really nice hotel in a perfect location near the beach and the old town. It’s a 10 minute way to the “Calle la Corrida” that it’s full of stores and restaurants. The rooms are big and confortable, some even have a full size jacuzzi. Just a comment based on a mistake I made: the hotel does not have a parking. There is a public parking 8 minutes walking from the hotel.

Rated as a 4 star hotel. Is anything but 4, maybe between 2 and 3. Very old and need of some maintenance. No shower door, no bottled water in room. Towels of very low quality, thin., place was clean. Location was its only asset.

A fairly old, basic hotel, very well located, in need of significant structural maintenance, especially bathrooms. Offers limited food service, which is offset by the multiple dining options in the surrounding area. Overall, price-quality ratio is high, perhaps only justified by its prime location.

Abba Playa Gijon Hotel

Gijon, Paseo del Doctor Fleming, 37 (2 km from centre) 🧭

Great view of beach and hotel was amazing clean and breakfast was great

The spa area requires maintenance otherwise excellent

Wave Sounds! Very comfortable with a lovely view of the beach and great sound of the waves.

No pool available and access to roof top

Amazing Coastal paseo along the beach We were only here one night but the view from the room was beautiful. Gijón has a paseo along the beach that goes on forever. It was very enjoyable to walk and see all the people and all the dogs.

The hotel was nice. The proximity to the beach was great. Half-board option was very convenient for early dinners.

Hotel Hernan Cortes

Gijon, Calle Fernández Vallín, 5 (in the centre) 🧭

The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming, and I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade. The room itself was cozy and comfortable — I especially appreciated the heating and the warm bathroom floor. The interior is a bit old-fashioned, but it adds a certain charm. The only downside was the absence of a disposable toothbrush, which could be an unpleasant surprise if you don...

We spent 5 days here and we will definitely be returning! The room was very comfortable and very nicely decorated..We were upgraded to a larger room, which was a nice surprise! Exceptionally clean and so was the bathroom. The staff were very helpful and friendly, in particular Angel. They spoke English and coped with our very limited Spanish! The location is perfect for access to town and the beach...

Good hotel, reasonably priced, good breakfast buffet

Great value hotel in Downton of Gijón, be aware that they have neither parking nor any agreement with a parking. You will have to add +20€ to you booking. We were upgraded so I cannot say much about our real room. The one which was given to us was crazy big...

Quiet, good breakfast, very near to the centre of the old town and the beach

Room is clean and tidy, and people are very nice to you, breakfast is good, too, etc. I will stay at this hotel next time. Thank you for your services.

AC Hotel Gijón by Marriott

Gijon, Avenida de Oviedo, 15 (2 km from centre) 🧭

Very nice stay. Nice, clean, very well structured rooms, helpful staff, and free parking.

Surprisingly disappointing for an AC Marriott. Found ants all over the bed — worse than some 3-star hotels I’ve stayed in. It’s hard to understand why no pest control has been done. After this experience, I won’t be booking AC hotels again

EXCELENTE TRATO DEL PERSONAL RECEPCION Y BUFFET MUY BUEN TRATO POR PARTE DEL PERSONAL DE RECEPCIÓN Y DE COMEDOR, ENSEGUIDA PREOCUPADOS DE SI FALYTABA ALGO DEL BUFFET REPONERLO ENSEGUIDA. TODO MUY BIEN.

We used this hotel as a stopover while driving to Portugal so it was conveniently located shortly off the highway. It was clean, staff were helpful. Check in was easy. Food was good.

Serv8ce was excelent, the one exception was that air conditioner didn't work to cool the room, even hav8ng the window open.

It was a good stay. Clean rooms, basic amenities like shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, clean towels. Located close to the highway. All reception staff spoke enough English to communicate with us. Will stay again if I’m in the area. The front parking lot is free. They have a rear, gated parking lot with enough stalls and an underground lot with few stalls and 4 electric vehicles stalls...

Hotel Príncipe de Asturias

Gijon, C/Manso, 2 (in the centre) 🧭

Great location and beautiful views from the rooms. The stay was comfortable overall, but the room could have been cleaner, especially in some less obvious areas. The hospitality also felt a bit inconsistent at times. Still, for a one-night stay, it was a good experience.

We really liked the hotel. The location was great. They need more rooms with showers. We asked if they could give us the only room with a shower, but they gave us one. We booked without breakfast because it seems too expensive at 12 euros per person per night. I would put a mirror in the room. There aren't any. And there's enough wall space to put one. Otherwise, I would definitely return.

Rooms nice and clean. Similar to a premier inn. Location right on the beach. Didn’t have breakfast but located on the top floor with great views. Parking next door in a managed underground location for an additional cost but super close.

Front line sea view room with all mod cons, shops, restaurants, cafés, supermarkets etc behind the hotel. Lovely promenade for a walk into the old town of Gijón.

Close to the sea, convenient, overall good.

Super good location, incredible views, quiet, clean, super fast check in and check out. Very good service.

NH Gijón

Gijon, Paseo Doctor Fleming, 71 (2 km from centre) 🧭

We stayed for one night before driving to Santander for our ferry to Portsmouth. The hotel was lovely and the staff very helpful. We were disappointed at the late opening of the restaurant in the evenings. We personally prefer to eat at 7pm and the restaurant opens at 8.30pm. We had an early start the following morning at 6.30am.

Be sure to request a room with a sea view for the full experience. Our breakfast offered an excellent selection, an attentive waiting staff were always on hand to help or offer cooked dishes. They also serve as knowledgeable concierges, gladly sharing tips on the most important sights you won’t want to miss. Their dedication and professionalism ensure every guest feels genuinely cared for.

Very nice hotel, with amazing terrasse Pool&Bar Very nice hotel Staff at reception has to be trained in order to explain correctly the facilities

Good modern hotel overall, good food in restaurant , but pricey parking at 19.5 € per night spoilt the experience.

Great stay — comfortable and convenient Everything was great at NH Hotel in Gijón. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location is super convenient — easy to get around the city and close to the beach. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Would definitely come back!

The location of this hotel is very good, close to the sea, and you can walk to the beach. The beach in Gijón is very fine, and many people are playing on the beach. There are public parking spaces on the roadside next to the hotel, which are quite sufficient. You can see the sea from the hotel window, which is very comfortable.

La Boroña

Gijon, Ctra. AS-II, No. 1602 (4 km from centre) 🧭

Great hotel but a little isolated

Lovely stay We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very friendly

A modern hotel on the road into Gijon. Easy parking, modern clean and comfortable rooms. A good stop over for a visit into town. Lots of shopping possibilities nearby.

Please congratulate your staff. They provided an excellent service.

Hotel La Boroña: the perfect pit stop for the practical traveler. Don't come expecting lavish luxuries or over-the-top amenities - but do come for a solid, no-frills stay that gets the job done. Rooms are clean and comfy, staff is friendly (if sometimes a bit busy), and the location is spot-on for exploring the city. Plus, the rooftop terrace offers some pretty sweet views. Breakfast buffet is your...

El Môderne Hotel Urban & Unique

Gijon, C/ Marqués de San Esteban, 27 (in the centre) 🧭

We booked a two-night stay but ended up staying only one night. The booking was made for our wedding, and the hotel was informed, so we had certain expectations. We reserved a Junior Suite, and at that time this was one of the most expensive hotels in Gijón. Unfortunately, the experience did not match the price. The arrival experience was disappointing. The receptionist was unfriendly, and when I politely...

Nice large room. Well designed bathroom(s), with a separate Toilet Room.lots of windows, though view is limited. Staff was very good at check-in/out and for discussions about restaurants.

Everything was great! All the staff, especially Daniel, were attentive to our needs and very helpful making restaurant recommendations.

Good hotel But too dark Not for a long stay

Beautiful hotel , close to everything, very clean and accessible. Front desk staff was amazing specially Pedro , with all the recommendations on what to do and where to eat . Great stay for sure !

Parador De Gijon

Gijon, Avenida Torcuato Fernandez Miranda, 15 (2 km from centre) 🧭

Gijon is a great area to visit , the Parador has an excellent location, charming staff and wonderful food.

What you’d expect from a parador, lovely old building, comfortable rooms & good food. Very handy if you are attending a football match, stadium is around 100m away but there is no noise intrusion. Food in restaurant was excellent.

set in an old mill, next to the extensive park, it is a quiet and beautiful place. Friendly staff and good size room. It is not in a center, but one can either walk along the beach or take a bus

The Parador is in a great location When we arrived the person at the front desk was very welcoming and we knew we were going to enjoy our 3 night stay. We appreciated the excellent service we received from Alvaro, Isabel and Mar. The excellent service contributed to an enjoyable stay. Our Superior room overlooked the park and helped create a relaxing environment. The common areas in this Parador...

Very interesting location. Very cozy and warm stay. Simple lodging, but with great character and ambience. Amazing service, people, and food.

Excellent location and service. I loved breakfast and cafeteria. Park right beside the Parador is beautiful.

Oca Palacio de la Llorea Hotel & Spa

Gijon, Ctra. Villaviciosa-Canero 6780 (7 km from centre) 🧭

Very smart hotel, lovely spacious room and lovely surroundings. One of the best pizzas I have ever had. Very good breakfast set us up for the day,

Lovely place. Great spa. Great staff

Got a bargain here, what a gem to stay at. Great spa and pool, gym, not into golf but looks great ! Lovely clean rooms and showers great ! Easy to park. Air con in rooms, restaurant looks amazing and off to try the food which looks great value.

Very comfortable hotel with excellent, professional service. We had relaxing massages, delicious food and I slept better there than I have in a long time.

My stay at the Oca Hotel Llarea We stayed 4 nights in the hotel. All the staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were also clean and modern. We had the option of keeping the same towels for the length of our stay, which we did.The breakfast buffet had both hot and cold food with plenty of choice, along with cereals, yogurt and fresh fruit. Hotel Don Manuel

Gijon, 252 Avenida del Oasis (in the centre) 🧭

Room was very good. Worst thing was the views from the window and the old handlers in the restroom. Some day someone will fall in the bath. Very nice locatiom and very helpful staff.

Didn't stay here, but stop and get the menu of the day. Tons of food, so share with someone and eat family style. Comes with wine, bread, water and dessert. Come hungry.

Nice friendly staff and good rooms

Centrally located but too noisy. Rooms are kept clean but looks more than a Hostal than a hotel. Good to be there for 1-2 days.

Perfect place for a stay in Gijon. The hotel is placed in the city center nearby the beach and marina. Clean and tidy rooms. Tasty food. I recommend.

The building is old but very clean staff are friendly mainly Spanish speaking only. Location is very good for bars, restaurants and promenade. Issued with key and card on arrival. This is a very typical low cost family hotel.

A lovely clean, comfortable hotel with friendly welcoming staff in an amazing clifftop location with coastal views. We stayed for 3 nights and would have happily stayed longer. There are clifftop walks in both directions but we would recommend the walk East to Playa Nora. Staff could not have been more helpful and made us feel very much at home.

Munna Hotel Boutique

Gijon, Calle del Carmen, 5, Centro, 33206 Hihon, Asturiya, Ispaniya (in the centre) 🧭

Upscale boutique hostel with helpful staff in what to do in town

Overall our stay was wonderful and the facility was clean with friendly staff. I would have rated it 5 stars, but we had to switch one of our rooms due to a musty smell. The nee room was great and staff was accommodating.

Good but with caveats I really wanted to love this hotel as I was looking forward to our stay so much. But felt that the images used to sell the hotel did not reflect the quality of the fittings (vinyl flooring that has seen better days) or the experience of the room (at least not the one we were given). The room felt quite claustrophobic with the only small window opening into an overlooked service...

Fab! Wonderful. Everyone on staff was very nice. Room was modern and clean.

Small boutique hotel, with good sized rooms and in a great location.

Great location. Walkable to train station, beach, restaurants, bars, shopping, historical sites, museums. Friendly, professional and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Great amenities in bathroom.
