Nice place with friendly staff and located nice from what ever direction you walking.

Great room, friendly service, parking on site. You are close to the beach but about half an hour's walk from the historic centre.

Nice hotel in a good location (approximately a 10 minute walk to the beach). Rooms are clean & today but slightly sterile. It is quiet even when the room is situated beside the lift. Underground parking available at 16 Euros per night. There are restaurants, cafés and supermarkets within 5-10 minutes walk.

Very nice, went on a business trip. Sea food here is not suitable for South Asians.

I have only been to the cafe on the ground floor. It is a quiet and spacious place. I have been a few times with my father and they have generous coffee cups. It is a bit more expensive but uf tranquility might just be what you need, this is your place. Because it is a hotel, it tends to intimidate people, hence it being a quiet place. If the tapa with the drink was a bit better, it would be 5 star...

Come for the restaurant (see photos). Had a really good dinner tonight at its on-site restaurant. The hotel has a nostalgic feels to it. Secure underground parking. Good customer service, thank you for a relaxing night esp after a quiet stroll by the beachfronts

It's not a bad place but when you specify on booking or agoda a queen bed room, and that you get a room with 2 small separated beds, your girlfriend get upset for sure ! Don't know who to blame but the girl at reception was not really cooperative.

Nice and clean hotel. Size was a bit much, made me feel unforgettable. Location is good, walk for a few minutes and you are at the beach.

It's a nice hotel in a peaceful envirorment really close to the best city views. The restaurant covers a wide variety of the spanish gastronomy with a professional service to serve you. A nice place for a social dinner with your working mates.

Rated as a 4 star hotel. Is anything but 4, maybe between 2 and 3. Very old and need of some maintenance. No shower door, no bottled water in room. Towels of very low quality, thin., place was clean. Location was its only asset.

We spent the night here and the hotel has the old charm feel. Beautiful staircase takes you up to your rooms. Lots of floor creaks but, in my opinion, adds to the charm. The hotel is in the best location of Gijón, The "Plaza Mayor", in the center of the city, near many interesting historic places. The building is old, but the facilities are very good, the service is kind and attentive and the overall quality is very, very good. The breakfast is small but better than most hotels, and definitively worth the small price they charge.

Surprisingly disappointing for an AC Marriott. Found ants all over the bed — worse than some 3-star hotels I’ve stayed in. It’s hard to understand why no pest control has been done. After this experience, I won’t be booking AC hotels again

We used this hotel as a stopover while driving to Portugal so it was conveniently located shortly off the highway. It was clean, staff were helpful. Check in was easy. Food was good.

Serv8ce was excelent, the one exception was that air conditioner didn't work to cool the room, even hav8ng the window open.

The hotel was great. Spacious room with super friendly staff. The dining options at the restaurant were great, and the waiter was super friendly too. You can skip the breakfast buffet.

It was a good stay. Clean rooms, basic amenities like shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, clean towels. Located close to the highway. All reception staff spoke enough English to communicate with us. Will stay again if I’m in the area. The front parking lot is free. They have a rear, gated parking lot with enough stalls and an underground lot with few stalls and 4 electric vehicles stalls...

Very cozy hotel with very nice and helpful staff. Rooms clean, quite spacious. Worth recommending.

We really liked the hotel. The location was great. They need more rooms with showers. We asked if they could give us the only room with a shower, but they gave us one. We booked without breakfast because it seems too expensive at 12 euros per person per night. I would put a mirror in the room. There aren't any. And there's enough wall space to put one. Otherwise, I would definitely return.

Rooms nice and clean. Similar to a premier inn. Location right on the beach. Didn’t have breakfast but located on the top floor with great views. Parking next door in a managed underground location for an additional cost but super close.

Front line sea view room with all mod cons, shops, restaurants, cafés, supermarkets etc behind the hotel. Lovely promenade for a walk into the old town of Gijón.

A historical building , magnificent interior and architecture. The place is very well maintained and very professional stuff .... from the reception till the housekeeping !!! The price for the rooms are very reasonable and worth it !!! I was amazed how happy I felt here after trying several hotels in Gijon. It's in the center of everything !!! I would chose this hotel everything I go to Gijon.

The Hotel lives up to it's four stars. Reception is helpful, made reservations for us. Rooms are clean, spacious with exceptionally large bathrooms. Nice climate controls and comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast at 10 euro. Central location adjacent to restaurants, central mercado, etc. Highly recommend.

Got a bargain here, what a gem to stay at. Great spa and pool, gym, not into golf but looks great ! Lovely clean rooms and showers great ! Easy to park. Air con in rooms, restaurant looks amazing and off to try the food which looks great value.

Motorcycle Tour - I selected this place for a two day rest stop whilst waiting on friends to come in by ferry and was absolutely happy with my choice. Very large and clean room with a small balcony. Design is modern, facility is new and price is cheap. I really want to give a five star. The missing star for my review is for the insects in my room. I killed three mosquitoes and two moths during my one night stay. I guess the insects nested in bathroom drain which needs a deep cleaning, because the room is on floor 8 and most flies and mosquitoes...

Very convenient location and the room was fine - except the bathroom. Looked very swish but was all style and no substance - water went everywhere under the screen and soaked the whole place! Breakfast was ok but the best thing - hotel had a garage. €15 a day but necessary in Gijon.

This is a really great little boutique-y hotel in the very center of Gijón, Galicia (NW Spain). Hotel is great. Cost benefit, location, room size are some positive aspects. If you are going by car, make sure to book the parking - a bit narrow to access but medium / big cars can make it. Staff also is super kindly and supportive.

Very well located hotel, in front of the beach. A bit retro style, but spacious rooms. Bear in mind that the TV is not a smart TV, hence no TV apps. Good hotel for it's price. Nice location: everything is near . Poor soundproofing, so you can hear your neighbors and the street. Keep this in mind if you have trouble sleeping. But overall I recommend the hotel

Clean rooms. Far from the beach but there is a bus line very close to the hotel. Super friendly staff. The only drawback is the food. We didn't know what we were going to eat until we were sitting at the table and the food was being served. Only two waitresses for a whole room of people..... That is if the two are super friendly and affectionate.

The staff were very helpful. The location was great very close to all the eateries, harbour and beaches. The room had a radio with built in speakers in the bathroom too.

Good basic hotel, fairly central. No parking, but there is a parking garage around the corner which had decent sized spaces.

In the very centre, bikers can park motorcycles in the parking 50 mt from hotel for 5€ / 24h. Hotel clean e good

Nice place Andrés the best service

We went there for dinner. The service was very good, as was the food. The only thing that stopped my rating it 5 stars was the terrible din coming from a drunken group who were supposedly watching football.

The ambience, the decor, the history of the house were fascinating. The host was very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was basic, all cold, but very good and fresh. The grounds were beautiful with lots of places to sit and enjoy the quiet.

Your very own mansion in this amazing space! The house holds so much history, but importantly how the rooms are updated with modern amenities for your comfort. I love the location, staff and service. Guillermo is a friendly and knowledgeable person who helps me with the best part of my stay there with recommendations for the visit places around the city. Walkable and near restaurants and coffee shops, stores and attractions.

We arrived without a reservation, but the reception staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to accommodate us. They managed to find us a large, spotlessly clean room for three, all for just 50 euros. The service was exceptional, making our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. Truly, this hotel is fantastic and offers incredible value!

One week ago i had a training in Gijon. I stayed a week in castilla hotel in centro. The price was great and the service too. The location was great because it s in centre of all commercial and touristic activities. The staff was always ready to serve and give advice. A friend of mine was in a 4 star hotel in the same location but was not satisfied as me. I hope i ll b back again and i m sure ill will...

Very good accommodation pretty close to San Lorenzo beach. Rooms are tidy, clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and nice. Just 20 min walking from Plaza Mayor. Highly recommended. Breakfast is not too special but good enough.

It's a nice place to spend the night near the beach for ~80€/night. It located on a pretty crowded place but owns a private parking for clients; that's a plus. Also, you can choose between many pillows an pick for your room the one it fits best to you. It's the first time I have seen this, and I appreciated this little detail.
