Hotels on first line in Gijon

I like the hotel, very near to all the train and Bus station. Near the beach, restaurants and train museum. I normally stay in this Hotel whenever I go to Gijon Asturias. We enjoyed the SPA and a very relaxing massage

The room is very clean and conveniently located next to the train station. It is very convenient to go to the beach, just a five-minute walk away. The hotel does not have slippers, you need to bring your own

Access to indoor pool was limited to 1 hour per day

Great modern hotel with spacious room, nice bathroom, shower etc. It is conveniently located right near train station (5 min walk). Staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful experience.

Staff great and room absolutely spotless. Shower really powerful and much needed to relax before a comfortable night's sleep. Gorgeous hotel.

Nice place to stay at in Gijón. Close to the sea front and offers good BF and spacious rooms.

Lovely Hotel ; Really friendly staff. Car parking is an extra €18 per day which is expensive and no Tea and Coffe facilities in the room which is a shame . Still a lovely Clean Hotel

Nice and clean hotel. Size was a bit much, made me feel unforgettable. Location is good, walk for a few minutes and you are at the beach.

Really nice hotel in a perfect location near the beach and the old town. It’s a 10 minute way to the “Calle la Corrida” that it’s full of stores and restaurants

The hotel is right at the historic square, next to the old part of the city. Amazing location, excellent food options nearby or walkable, and very friendly and knowledgeable staff! I would definitely book here again!

The rooms are big and confortable, some even have a full size jacuzzi. Just a comment based on a mistake I made: the hotel does not have a parking. There is a public parking 8 minutes walking from the hotel

We chose to eat elsewhere for breakfast but came back for lunch at the hotel restaurant. The food and service was perfect. This is a perfect honeymoon location. We are from California USA and loved Gijon

We spent the night here and the hotel has the old charm feel. Beautiful staircase takes you up to your rooms. Lots of floor creaks but, in my opinion, adds to the charm

Wave Sounds! Very comfortable with a lovely view of the beach and great sound of the waves.

We also had dinner at Abba Mia, their restaurant and it was very good. The hotel is very centrally located and the famous San Lorenzo beach is 2 minutes walk from the hotel

Amazing Coastal paseo along the beach We were only here one night but the view from the room was beautiful. Gijón has a paseo along the beach that goes on forever

The spa area requires maintenance otherwise excellent

The swimming pool was closed, for the month of September it is rather deceiving, that's the only thumbs down of my stay

The staff were very helpful and friendly, in particular Angel. They spoke English and coped with our very limited Spanish! The location is perfect for access to town and the beach

We spent 5 days here and we will definitely be returning! The room was very comfortable and very nicely decorated. We were upgraded to a larger room, which was a nice surprise! Exceptionally clean and so was the bathroom

Great value hotel in Downton of Gijón, be aware that they have neither parking nor any agreement with a parking. You will have to add +20€ to you booking. We were upgraded so I cannot say much about our real room

The only downside was the absence of a disposable toothbrush, which could be an unpleasant surprise if you don’t bring your own

Be sure to request a room with a sea view for the full experience. Our breakfast offered an excellent selection, an attentive waiting staff were always on hand to help or offer cooked dishes

There are public parking spaces on the roadside next to the hotel, which are quite sufficient. You can see the sea from the hotel window, which is very comfortable

We stayed for one night before driving to Santander for our ferry to Portsmouth. The hotel was lovely and the staff very helpful. We were disappointed at the late opening of the restaurant in the evenings

We personally prefer to eat at 7pm and the restaurant opens at 8. We had an early start the following morning at 6

The location of this hotel is very good, close to the sea, and you can walk to the beach. The beach in Gijón is very fine, and many people are playing on the beach

Cleanliness is good, and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Close to the pedestrian area with plenty of shops and the San Lorenzo promenade and beach. There's another beach very close by

Really nice hotel just on the edge of central Gijon. Rooms to a very high standard (if somewhat moodily lit, but that is the style) and junior suite was particualrly good value and well appointed

set in an old mill, next to the extensive park, it is a quiet and beautiful place. Friendly staff and good size room. It is not in a center, but one can either walk along the beach or take a bus

There is a lot to experience in Gijon and this Parador is the perfect place to stay at whether you enjoy visiting the parks, museums, or other attractions

The Parador is in a great location When we arrived the person at the front desk was very welcoming and we knew we were going to enjoy our 3 night stay

The hotel's location enables an easy walk to the railway and bus stations and there is a good supermarket adjacent to the hotel. The sandy Playa de San Lorenzo beach is adjacent to the hotel

Very well located hotel, in front of the beach. A bit retro style, but spacious rooms. Bear in mind that the TV is not a smart TV, hence no TV apps

They need more rooms with showers. We asked if they could give us the only room with a shower, but they gave us one. We booked without breakfast because it seems too expensive at 12 euros per person per night

We just spent three nights at Hotel La Colina in Gijon, Spain. I have to say it’s been the highlight of our European trip. The location is secluded outside of town, but you can get into town in 10 minutes

Beautiful view of the ocean and surrounding cliffs, and walking trails with secluded access down to different little beaches and lookout points right outside of the hotel

The rooms were great, the views are fantastic, along with the hiking paths and best of all the staff were some of the friendliest people we’ve met on our trip. Highly recommended, and we will be back

There are clifftop walks in both directions but we would recommend the walk East to Playa Nora. Staff could not have been more helpful and made us feel very much at home

Great value offering in a clean and safe hotel. Be prepared to find the entrance door by looking for the signs outside and then you will go up a staircase

Decent budget hotel option in Gijón with a cafeteria on the ground floor. Mattresses, pillows and shower could be better and it's quite a long way from the city centre.

Hotel with an excellent location, next to San Lorenzo beach and the city center. Clean rooms, decent breakfast, but. Surprise! Be careful with the air conditioning if you're traveling in the middle of summer

It is located in the center of the old city, convenient to the beach and downtown restaurants. There is a convenience store downstairs with everything. It is a very convenient hotel choice

Nice little hotel, I stayed there for 2 nights for the Gijon international film festival, the location is really good as it was near the 2 theaters that were playing the movies and is also near really good places to go out at night and have a beer or two

Good hotel for it's price. Nice location: everything is near . Poor soundproofing, so you can hear your neighbors and the street. Keep this in mind if you have trouble sleeping. But overall I recommend the hotel

The hotel is in a brilliant location, good sized room and bathroom, so plenty of space even with our pooch. Easy walk to the promenade and a lovely beach full of dogs having fun in the surf

The staff was very helpful making great recommendations for Asturian food and sidre. The hotel was close to the beach and sites in Gijoʻn.

The room was also lovely, with a window overlooking the street, that I was surprised at how quiet it was, considering it's central location. The bed was super comfortable, although I would have liked some firmer pillows

Room was very good. Worst thing was the views from the window and the old handlers in the restroom. Some day someone will fall in the bath. Very nice locatiom and very helpful staff.

The building is old but very clean staff are friendly mainly Spanish speaking only. Location is very good for bars, restaurants and promenade. Issued with key and card on arrival

Didn't stay here, but stop and get the menu of the day. Tons of food, so share with someone and eat family style. Comes with wine, bread, water and dessert. Come hungry.

This is a very typical low cost family hotel

The customer service is exceptional. Very close to the Marina and the Beach, and is surrounded by restaurants and coffee shops

Quite big rooms and huge bathroom. A little bit noisy but not too loud. Distance to the beach just a few minutes. Supermarket just down the street. Staff is very very nice but unfortunately doesn't speak much English

The staff were very helpful. The location was great very close to all the eateries, harbour and beaches. The room had a radio with built in speakers in the bathroom too.

Gijón its mi natal city and i live here, its a lovely place with some cultural spots that worth the visit. I really recommend it.

In the very centre, bikers can park motorcycles in the parking 50 mt from hotel for 5€ / 24h. Hotel clean e good

A BATH, guys! The hotel is affordable, and centrally located. The true standout though, and the reason this was 5 stars, was because of the helpful and professional reception staff

however the walls are very thin, so if the neighbors are nosy you are out of luck

note: there isnt any physical reception after 18h, so if you srrive there make sure to ring and it will connect you with someone over the phone and they will do your checkin in a machine with a camera

I stayed here for a couple of days between Caminos, and the single room (while small) was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. It had a full bathroom, including a BATH

it's quite small but sufficient if you sre staying for one night like it was my case and there wasnt any noise from the outside as the view is on an empty street
