Two months after my stay, my credit card was charged without reason or communication. Update: after emailing hotel, they sorted out the issue. They were very responsive. The apartment we stayed in was fantastic. The hotel itself is very well located. I highly recommend.

Great location close to Burgos Cathedral. Also very close to bus station. Rooms are decent size. Bathrooms are modern however a swinging door (ours didn’t quite land in the closed position). Stayed on the 4th floor and only had a skylight, which ended up leaking when a heavy thunderstorm rolled thru. The cafe’ in the lobby is good and great service there! Good way to start the morning.

After 175 miles along the the Camino de Santiago, we stayed in Burgos for two days. Burgos is a magnificent town. We booked a private room at the Hotel Via Gotica with bathroom and view. The view from the window and balcony was incredible ... like looking across to the Disneyland Castle from a couple of hundred yards away! Location is better than anything else. Very accommodating for our bikes. Comfortable and clean. Stayed here 2 nights and would come back.

Staff go out of their way to help you and up to date with all information that we asked about. Very old Spanish building with some rooms have iron balconies.

What a gem of a place. Built on 1909 refurbishment has been done with safety and comfort in mind. The original radiators and door fittings as well as stained glass windows, claw feet chests, vanity writing tables in the foyer. Excellent staff very proud of the preservation of as much of the original building and fitments in use over 100 years on. Excellent location for the cathedral and monuments....

Just returned from 9 nights here to attend the Dance World Cup. So impressed. Spotlessly clean, bedding and towels changed daily. Staff very friendly. Location is perfect for the city and for the Forum if attending events. Very traditional hotel but we loved it.

Friendly staff, comfortable room, gigantic bathroom! No complaints from this Peregrino! We were able to reserve for 2 nights through their website the day of arrival, and have been very happy with our accommodations! Sure, the carpet is a little worn in spots, the wallpaper is having issues here and there, and the walls are a little thin, but it was a very comfortable stay - in a very convenient location

This is a budget hotel with limited paid secure parking, situated very close to the town centre. The basic rooms were a little cramped but clean, warm and comfortable. WiFi reception was good. Perfect place to stay in Burgos. You can walk everywhere, so many restaurants to choose from, so many churches and monuments and fun artwork.

We came after a long stretch of the Camino. Staff was helpful and empathic. Price ok for a big city. Position is wonderful and the breakfast generous. Few details on the cleaning (on the base of the lamp and on the floor) but irrelevant for the evaluation. I feel good to recommend

The rooms are really cold, the wifi doesn't work, if it's only to sleep at night it's nice but for young people it's not really great as neighbors complains even about talking noises.

I am mixed on how I should write this review. In theory, it did everything I asked it to, no problems. Check-in is quick, staff are great, with a smile. Parking is free, plenty of spaces. Location is great, seems to be in the city centre and the price, well, put it this way, it's cheaper than 5 of us having Macdonald's. So, on paper, it's great. Good location: 5min walk to the Cathedral and surrounding shops, bars and restaurants and the riverside walk. The accommodation was basic but clean and comfortable. Whilst there was no Receptionist on site, the handler was fast and efficient. (The only drawback for me was the glass sliding door separating the bathroom from the bed, a little too "intimate" for my liking but otherwise good value.)

Good location and reasonably priced. The rooms were quite noisy with both noise from the busy road outside, as well as the banging noise from the people having sex in the next room , which continued for several hours... The room was very small with a small shower with a toilet and a wash basin in the corner, and overall very clean and tidy. Loses a star as at the time of booking I was not made aware...

The room was really clean and well located. 5 min walking to the center. It was really fashion and quite. Easy check in and out. The only negative point it is that is really hard to park the car. You have to pay a parking (10€/day). Spite of i highly recommend the Urban hotel Burgos

The most comfortable accommodation in Burgos. I had a great stay with my mother. Friendly and clean.

Good location, clean rooms, but it lacks a common space and kitchen so there’s no feeling of community or social interaction. It’s good for a night of rest.

The rooms in the Hostal are great, clean and the bathroom is amazing! We enjoyed our stay here alot. Definitely recommended for a few days stay in Burgos in a nice location. Also the owner is very friendly and helpful to help tourists around.

Don't go in winter: heater problem. They put heaters at 25C or 30C I think, you cannot put them out. Window open means lots noise from industrial area. Good hotel but too bad: impossible to sleep with so much heat, no air and loud noise

Rooms are quite and large enough. Bathroom is clean and nice but it would need a serious renovation. The swimming pool is great !

Staff were very good. Room was spotless. Food was good. Location was great for Alicante to Santander ferry. My dog was happy. I would definitely recommend.

We stayed one night whilst travelling north and visiting Burgos. Decent hotel, decent value. We took the bus into the city rather than take two cars, as there's a bus stop just outside. There were a couple of problems with some room maintenance that negate a higher score (loose skirting board and a falling curtain rail that may have hit a head whilst in bed) but in general it's a decent choice. Very welcoming and kind staff, a spacious room. Few minus points due to lack of secure car park on-site, limited menu at the downstairs restaurant and for bedding being slightly old-fashioned (a throw instead of a duvet). Also, we struggled to find the hotel first and drove past it first. It could be good to put some signs to guide guests. But a budget-friendly option for those driving past Burgos

Excellent Hotel 180km from Santander. Good food and friendly and helpful people.

Ok. No secure parking. Dogs were 11euro each - twice the price of any other place we have ever been.

I visited this hotel attending a professional event at my enterprise's factory. We ate very typical meals from Burgos such as "alubias de ibeas" and "morcilla de burgos". I can say all the meals were very tasty but i would have liked to have more variety of desserts. Anyway the service was excellent and I would recommend this place to anyone who visit Burgos.

Had a small but very clean room with a comfortable bed in a quiet place for a good nights sleep. Judit was very pleasant and helpful at the front desk even though I arrived early. The Camino passes right by the front door.

Hotel very well located in the center but without noise. Pleasant staff. Parking 3 minutes walk away and possibility of parking in front of the hotel to unload. Cleanliness in the room and common areas. Comfortable bedding.

It is a hotel that is only for sleeping. You have to be clear about this before booking. It is not for living in the room since it is small and with hardly any outside lighting. If you are clear about this, the cheap price and excellent location are its strong points. The receptionist was super friendly.

I spent a couple nights here, nice stay. The location is close to everything downtown Burgos.

Excellent interior at dining room, classy and understated. Business room was very small but had hot water in the shower and the door locked twice. Staff was very nice and helpful. Could use a minor makeover but for a quick stay or somewhere that's not a municipal for a night on the Camino, it'll do.

We enjoyed our stay only the parking was quite challenging in a 4 x 4 no issues otherwise.

I got a duplex room for the first time, with a little balcony and skylight, and it was really nice. Clean, quiet and comfy

The location was perfect. Only a few moments walk to the cathedral, the river and lots of beautiful churches. Lots of choice for bars and restaurants too.

Are you sure this is a 4 star? Didn't see any obvious amenities to justify the rating. No business lounge, not even a quiet room to work in. Outlets v. sparse in public areas and even in the rooms (none by the bed). Rooms were huge but showing their age. Fridge didn't work (leaked in fact). Some of the public areas seem quite unkempt/scruffy e.g lounge furniture. Didn't eat or drink there...

The cleaners are lovely. We met them because when we arrived for check in at 3.30, got our key and went up to our room, it wasn't cleaned yet. The place is quite run down. The breakfast was excellent. excellent. The wifi will not connect without internet, and inside the building we can't get internet.

Stop over We turned up late evening to be told they had no record of our reservation.(not hotels fault but ********** hadn't forwarded it) Thankfully the hotel had a spare room for us. A great place to eat tapas with a great price/quality relationship! The service was very fast even though the restaurant was quite full.
