Specious with everything you might need and walking distance to a large supermarket and the beach.
Our particular apartment was on the ground floor and the balcony did not get any sun, but that was the only minor issue.
The gardens are beautifully landscaped and it is a very safe and secure complex within minutes of the beach and local supermarket. All of this gets 5 stars for value for money, cleanliness and safety.
Our one complaint was that the seasonal pool was not open in May and then when we came to use it in August, it was so dirty that you could need see one foot ahead/deep. The staff said they had an issue with managing chlorine. There was a thick white substance like a type of mould. We did report it to the Ona Group complaints but got no response.
As a pool owner, I know what is safe/clean and unfortunately this was not. This is the only complaint but we found other local pools and paid a daily rate to use them instead. It would have got 5 stars if it were not for the seriously unclean pool.

The location was fantastic and all amenities in the apartment were excellent. Could have done with air con in the bedrooms not just the living area. Distance to the very nice and quiet pool was ok.
Excellent apartment,in a lovely location.Couldnt fault
The resort is situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood close to the beach and is very secure with five different keys needed to access the apartment! The buildings are in their own landscaped gardens which are well maintained. We found the reception staff very friendly and helpful. A bonus was free wifi but to access it one had to go to reception which is in a different street to the apartment but only a 5 minute walk.
The negatives. Poor soundproofing meant you could hear those in adjoining apartments flush the toilet and chairs scraping on the marble floors, even though they were not noisy neighbours.
The resort is a good 30 minute walk from the town centre. There is a bus service nearby which is every 15 minutes in summer but only every 40 minutes during the low season. Various activities are listed as being nearby but to access most of them you would need your own transport. There are bars and a small supermarket within walking distance the opposite direction from town but none are particularly exciting.
We found the reception staff, although trying to be helpful, did not have much knowledge of what activities were on offer, bus timetables etc. There are two information centres but both are on the marina.
We were unfortunate that there were two national holidays during our week which meant the reception and adjoining swimming pool were unavailable those days, also that we only had one change of towels instead of alternate days.
In general Torrevieja is a quiet little town and probably more suited for people who just want to laze on the beach and have a drink of an evening rather than for someone who wants to visit museums and galleries. There is an intercity bus service to Alicante, Cartagena and Murcia but buses only run a few times a day and it is confusing that there are three different bus companies operating , each with a different desk.
