Absolutely immaculate and beautifully maintained tea estate villa. Our room was gorgeous with a view to die for over the tea plantations. We loved the circular walk through the tea trees, enjoyed the pool and loved having the putting. The food was first class! The evening meals were excellent quality and the breakfasts plentiful and abundant, including curd and honey which we love. Taking afternoon tea on the lawn on my husband’s birthday felt like a step back in time and was just idyllic. The staff can’t do enough to ensure your stay! Always smiling and helpful, they are a delight.

Everything about the boutique hotel was perfect, from our greeting to our farewell. The staff were all wonderful and attentive without being intrusive. The food was amazing and so delicious. The GM and Chef took the time to ensure we were enjoying our experience. That was a wonderful touch to an awesome stay.

Classy, homely and the most beautiful gardens that included putting green, tennis court and badminton court all on manicured lawns. The infinity pool looked onto the tea plantation hills a fantastic setting. We liked the cosy bar area for a drink before our delicious meal. Service was delivered in a warm and polite manner. I am only sorry we were only there for such a short period of time. Would definitely go back!

What a wonderful boutique hotel with amazing views over the Somerset tea plantation. My husband and I stayed for 4 nights. The staff were so welcoming and showed us to our room explaining how everything worked. The room was very comfortable with a large bed and coffee making facility. The bathroom nice and big with toiletries and a hairdryer. The food was delicious and a nice choice for supper with 4 courses. The breakfast amazing with fresh fruit and full English. Eggs cooked to perfection. They were very good with my food allergies. The chef is top notch. We had a lovely waiter called Dilan, who was outstanding. The pool area is a lovely place to relax after a day trecking. There is a lovely 45 minute walk around the plantation Perfect place. Thank you.

Stayed here for three nights early December. Travelled from Kandy soon after the cyclone when the roads were still pretty bad. On arrival were told we were the only guests for the next two nights as they had a number of cancellations. It meant we got very personal and attentive service. Went in the pool (which you could ask to be heated), played mini golf and sat in the gardens admiring the stunning views over the tea plantations. The hotel is small and very cosy and welcoming with a real colonial style feel. The food was faultless, both breakfast and evening meals and it was a lovely touch when Chef came out and spoke with you directly. Staff too were excellent, very efficient, polite and friendly. Had a great massage in the spa which is well worth a visit. Only minor negative would be the room & bathroom smelt a bit ‘drainy’ (possibly due to all the recent rain). We passed that on and I’m sure they’ll investigate. Would also benefit from a mini fridge. Altogether a wonderful stay with stunning views, food and staff and lots to do and see nearby. We’re so pleased our driver made the effort to risk the journey. Thank you Langdale.

This place is magical. Genuinely whole-hearted recommendation. Clean, friendly staff, vistas of the surrounding hills that will stick with you for a lifetime. We were there with our 1y old son and enjoyed every second. Thanks also to the General Manager Fouzi Mohideen in particular who cared for us like a family member and certainly will stay in our mind as one.

This hotel is beautifully situated overlooking the tea plantations. The grounds are so well kept and breakfast overlooking the gardens with the windows wide open was particularly enjoyable. The staff are excellent. The room was very comfortable and the food was delicious.

We choose this following recommendations from some family members who had stayed here. This is a small boutique hotel with few rooms. What makes this special is the location and needless to say the staff. Our room on the first floor was clean and spacious. The restaurant was ala carte and you were asked to select your meal in advance. At meal times we had the chef come out and check if we needed anything else and to make sure everything was fine. I believe his name was Gamini. No complaints about breakfast or dinner. Outside there is a tennis court, a mini gold course which we made use of, a small swimming pool which was heated and there were a few deck chairs. You could walk out and wander among the tea plantation. The view is stunning and seeing the low lows descent in the distance early morning was awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would rate this 5/5.

The hotel exceeded all my expectations with its exceptional hospitality and warm atmosphere. Every meal was a delight, thanks especially to Chef Gamini, whose delicious and fresh dishes truly stood out. His culinary skills brought vibrant flavors and creativity to the table, making every bite memorable. The quality and freshness of the food reflected great care and passion, enhancing the overall experience. The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment throughout the stay. The amazing pool offered a perfect spot for relaxation and leisure, while the well-maintained tennis court and mini golf added extra fun and activity options. Overall, this hotel combines excellent food, pristine facilities, and engaging amenities for a truly outstanding experience.
