My first visit to Stockholm and chose this Clarion primarily for its location, since it's on a quieter part of the city but still within perfect walking distance from all major places of interest. There's also a supermarket right in front of it, adding value to the location.
Pros: Very helpful staff. Breakfast is pretty good with a fair selection both hot and cold. Shower pressure was very good as well. As mentioned, location is the best part.
Cons: The hotel, although modern and nice in design, seems like it could use some minor maintenance. Lot of "clinks" and "clanks" can be heard with elevators, ventilation systems, etc.. I booked a Deluxe room on the highest (7th) floor and every now and then, there was a constant "water drop" sound that would get louder for around 10 mins, stop and then after a while, come back again.
Furthermore, noise isolation wasn't the greatest, often hearing footsteps, conversations and people speaking when close to my room.
The room itself although nice, was surprisingly strangely distributed, leaving empty spaces barely accesible (In my case, the right side of the bed was practically a waste of space and difficult to get to), the wardrobe was very small and the little space it had for potential storage was already occupied with the complimentary tea, glasses, sugar, etc... that they provide. The bed and pillows were extremely soft (red flag for people like me who have back/neck issues) and the views were unfortunately not the greatest. For a Deluxe room on the highest floor of the hotel, it was frankly a little disappointing.
For my Gym fellow rats - The gym was fairly good. Beware that there is not a single Machine or cable station. It's all free weights. On the other hand, dumbbells go up to 35kg, something I usually don't find, so that was a nice touch.
In general, I would recommend this hotel, although I wouldn't go for the "higher" room categories for now as you could save some money and still get a pretty decent room.

The rooms were very clean and the staff were extremely kind. The location is excellent, the metro stop is practically next door. Breakfast is also nice. The only downside is that the rooms are a bit small.

Contemporary hotel with the "Scandinavian" design language. Location is great with 10 min plesant walk from the city central station. A lot of stuff to see and do in its direct vincinity and a vast array of dinner options.
We stayed in a standard double (523) which had a smaller floor space than usual. Two persons on vacation, each carrying suitcase, hand luggage and all the other random stuff that builds up while travelling, would have a hard time figuring out how to make the room passable from one side to the other. If you plan to stay longer than just overnight, consider an upgrade.
Room standard is average/good. Very comfortable bed (slept like a baby), adjustable indoor climate, fridge/mini bar, small TV (with bad sound quality), relatively spacious bathroom with products from Rituals.., good sound insulation and thick curtains that darken the room well enough. Overall clean and well kept. Our room also had a cute view of the streets below.
Breakfast had most of what you'd expect, plus some extras such as chia pudding and overnight oats (very trend sensitive). Omelette made to order. There was even some seasonal specials: warm rice pudding (porridge) and mulled wine! Unsure if you could get something else than regular coffee though (the offer wasn't proposed).
Hotel staff was engaged, attentive and with a personal approach.
I would stay here again and I recommend it to anyone looking for a "normal hotel" that meets european standards.

I stayed at Clarion Hotel Amaranten in Stockholm from June 26 to 28. The hotel is quite large but still feels cozy and welcoming. The breakfasts were excellent – tasty, varied, and a real pleasure to start the day with. The room was on the smaller side, but very comfortable and had everything I needed. Overall, it’s a great choice for business trips: convenient, clean, and well thought out. I can definitely recommend it!

Great hotel in the city center, just a 10-minute walk from Arlanda Express station. It's on the pricey side but worth it for the location and convenience. Since it's primarily a business hotel, the breakfast area can get quite crowded during peak hours, so plan accordingly. Overall, a solid choice for staying centrally in Stockholm.

Breakfast was incredibly chaotic. It was packed with people, and unfortunately, there wasn't enough seating for everyone. We were also assigned a very run-down accessible room. Quite disappointing!
