Best Hotels in Stockholm

A small , well run hotel in the centre of Stockholms old town . My single room was small but have everything i needed. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and polite throughout my stay .

A good hotel in the very center of the old city, many souvenir shops nearby, a ferry stop nearby, good restaurants

There was a model ship on the wall, and the bathroom door was designed like a submarine. There was also a small library on the second floor. The breakfast was delicious, and the location was great

However, compared to the other hotels I stayed at during my stay in Sweden, there was no drink bar and the breakfast selection was limited

Super convenient to everything Gamla Stan has to offer. Friendly staff and great all around.

Tiny room in the middle of old town. Great location but can be loud in the morning.

The rooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy. The internet quality was good. The location is very central and excellent. The automatic doors opening at the welcome and farewell are a welcome touch

The location of the hotel is very good. Close to the city center and a 3 minute walk to the biggest food market. The breakfast was below-average

The only thing I would complain about is that the scrambled eggs and hard-boiled eggs were way too runny. Otherwise everything else was good.

The hotel was well placed for the area of Stockholm that we were visiting. Exceptional breakfast, lovely and welcoming staff. The bed was a bit too soft for me though!

Staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out a breeze. Overall, great value for central Stockholm, and I’d definitely stay here again

The hotel is located near the city central train station. Thestaff is very nice to help us.

Good siz3d room , lots of restaurants and cafes in the area. Good breakfast. 5 minutes walk to the metro.

And in the bathroom where big hole in wall, not maybe good with shower steam go there. Breakfast was quite basic, but no any labels. And no mention about allergies, no gluten-free food? Dinner at pazzi was good

Good location Hotel is in a good location. Lots of restaurants and bars in waking distance. Hotel Italian restaurant has good food and reasonable price. Shower floods bathroom which isn't great

Location is spot on for everything. From dinning to tattoos-everything is walkable. Metro is a block away that’ll take you anywhere else. Will stay there again, highly recommend .

I stayed here with my kids, ages 9 & 11. The staff were hospitable- the breakfast in the morning was amazing and there were so many options. The location is super convenient

The history of the property. The experience was more about the castle’s history more than the service. Be aware there are no elevators, no phone or dressers in the rooms, a bit odd.

Very good relation of price and what you get. Had a construction site in front of our window and got a new and very quiet room without any complications.

It's very nice and cozy, and very close to the subway station.

It was near the train, so that's good. It was a nice hotel with very helpful personal there, and their breakfast I really liked. And we could book the sauna for ourselves (me and the lady) for 1 hour. 👍👍 kimppa.t

Sure Hotel by Best Western Stockholm Älvsjö er et helt ok hotell med enkel standard. Beliggenheten er svært praktisk, rett ved togstasjonen og Stockholmsmässan.

The front desk was available even at late hours, so I was able to check in without any problems. The room had twin beds, but it was still only about 5 tatami mats (or smaller?)

The hotel is on a nice quiet street. The room was very small but had all we needed. There was a good selection at breakfast too. We arrived at 9 pm and the reception closes at 5, which was a surprise

Excellent location, convenient to everything. Was surprised no breakfast on Sunday but otherwise great stay!

They were super helpful. They let me keep my luggage there way past checkout time while I walked around the city.

Speaking of breakfast, no vegan options beyond bread and fruit were available. Room was little bit on the cold side, luckily the outside temperature was not too cold so this was not a major issue

Great price for Stockholm, especially in such a great area with easy transportation. You get what you pay for though, so expect a room with no window, small bed, and small toilet

We stayed in the Casandra apartment across the street from the main hotel and absolutely loved it. Being there for a week, we so enjoyed having space to spread out. Everything was clean and comfortable

The breakfast buffet provides a nice mix of items. The staff at the desk and breakfast are friendly and helpful. The proximity to all Gamla Stan has to offer cannot be beat

The apartment has every modern amenity and was centrally located to everything in Gamla Stan and easy access to all public transportation to the rest of Stockholm

Lovely, old hotel with a lot of charm. My room had lovely decor, a nicely updated bathroom, and a comfortable bed. The high traffic area of the room nearest the door was in need of some attention

Fastest service I've experienced in a long time! I got a small but efficient room in the basement. I had a good sleep and decent WiFi. Breakfast buffet is good quality and just what you need in size, but not more

This is a strange looking hotel from the outside but don't let that put you off. It's a small hotel about 40 minutes walk from the centre or a 3 stop subway ride. Nice clean rooms and a good continental style breakfast

There is a very nice lounge with a fire place and view of a park. I don't know if they themselves have a dress code, but I would recommend "business casual" and up to, or you feel a bit underdressed in the settings

I have been there for dinner and I found the place comfortable. It was not overcrowded and the tables had a lot of space between them. I am curious to try the bar section which has a nice fireplace.

The food, presentation and service is definitely worthy of 5 stars with margins to spare. It's a great place for a business lunch/dinner or to celebrate something

Located close to KTH which was very convenient. The staff was friendly and service minded. However, the restaurant seemed to be closed when I stayed there

Everything was excellent! A very tiny shelf in the bathroom would be useful! The staff was very nice and the breakfast was just good! I paid 20 Euro more than ******* had said (exchange rate I gues but still…) but it was still worth it!

Good location, very friendly staff. However we paid for a superior double room rather than the standard double room as we wanted a double and not 2 twins, the superior had 2 twin beds psuhed together

Loved this location! Right beside the train station. Interesting that face cloths/loofas are not provided for showering. (Just a personal observation) also the TV was super finicky

The hotel is on a quiet street but a construction site just across from our window made for noise and dust. The breackfast was good and the evening staff member was very helpful

Good location The hotel is centrally located and it's easy to walk to most places or take the metro which is one block away

Great location being a comfortable and scenic 10 minute stroll to Gamla Stan and only a couple of minutes from the local T-bana. Comfortable beds, quiet location despite being central with local bars and restaurants

We stayed there for one night to be able to go to a friend's party. I doubt we'll ever stay anywhere else when visiting Stockholm. Lovely room, good beds, excellent shower

The atmosphere is, being an old castle, lovely. Everything is perfectly clean and well maintained. For being in Stockholm and 2 minutes from a subway station, there is _no_ noise

We could not hear the subway at all, nor road traffic. 1500 SEK/night is a very good price. The breakfast did not have a huge selection, but the quality was again very good. Service was good and very cheerful

If you're travelling with car, parking is free and the underground train relatively cheap, Parking in central Stockholm is extremely expensive, so this is a good alternative On the negative side: not very easy to access the rooms (this was in an annex to the main building) with your luggage, unless you have your own car and can drive over the grass and stop close to the door

On the plus side; comfortable beds and good showers, with good pressure and easy to adjust temperature

Why not stay at a castle? One advantage of having a petty aristocracy is lots of castles around. This 1800s castle and grounds has been converted into a convention center and hotel

If you’re serkun a modern and slick place to stay, this is not it! But we wanted a historical place to stay in the heart of the old town, so for that this was perfect! Everything was clean and tidy, breakfast was good and the personel was super friendly! The access to the hotel was made very simple and it is a fair (2km) walking distance from the Viking Line harbor

The staff was not onsite when we checked in, but the instructions were very clear (in English) for us to check in on our own. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very attentive

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Sven Vintappare. We could not have found a better location in central Stockholm to walk to most of the things we wanted to do

Two minor things to consider before booking a stay here: 1. There are steep, spiraling stairs to get to most rooms. Each floor only has 2 rooms so you may have a lot of stairs! 2

A small cozy hotel in a quite area of the city.

Just returned from a 3 night stay with my daughter. This hotel was in the exact area I wanted to stay in, as I’d heard good things about Södermalm. Kept spotlessly clean and run by really friendly welcoming staff

Shared showers was definetly not a problem and pretty big and good pressure. Typical Swedish breakfast included. For being stockholm, and for this price I was pleasently surprised

The breakfast buffet is pretty good, although focused on preparing a few sandwiches with the coffee. Highly recommended to buy the public transportation card in the supermarket ICA, which is under the hotel

I stayed at Biz Apartment Gärdet in Stockholm and really liked it. The apartment was super clean, spacious, and had everything I needed in the kitchen

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the area is quiet with a nice park nearby. It’s not right in the center, but the bus stops just around the corner and gets you downtown in about 15 minutes

The hotel is very good. Clean, not noisy, good beds. But the rooms don't have a fridge or water kettle, and at least our room was missing a towel rack, there was almost nowhere to hang the towels.

The customer service was above and beyond our expectations. We didn't know we needed an adapter for the electrical outlets, and the front desk receptionist helped us by letting us borrow one
