Amazing location! I biked from the hotel to Gstaad and the panoramic views were breathtaking so beautiful. I really liked the location, the price was good, and the owner helped me a lot in scheduling my trips and recommending attractive places to visit. The hotel is based in the quiet area and is very lovely for families The room is very well done at modelstyle clean I think the owner she will cook 2 times a week, I very like her cook😁 very tasty food and Healthy not much ingredients! The breakfast is very simple but I think you get everything what you need for! For the price and the quality what I received I very satisfied with it😊

We had lunch there yesterday and it was excellent! A new cook, new staff and renovated restaurant. The bistro style food was delicious and varried. I am looking forward to seeing their winter menu as they change with the seasons. For those who like the “entrecôte” they have their own styled one with the butter sauce and excellent fries.

We came here for lunch on a Sunday and it was such a nice (re)discovery. The new management (Chef Buri) and his team have done an incredible job with the menu. I ate a burger which was delicious. The homemade salad sauce was noteworthy (grandma’s recipe) and the chocolate mousse and crumble dessert really really good (and so easy to eat even if you are full, it’s not overwhelming). Excellent restaurant where we had a delicious dinner. Large choice and everything was great from the nice service to the very tasty meal. The wooden dining room inside makes you experience the warmth of an authentic chalet. Will definitely return there :-).

We couldn’t find a hotel I Chateau d’Œx (pronounced sha-toe day) for the hot air balloon festival so we decided to stay here which is a 10min walk to the station and a 30min train ride to Chateau d’Œx. Went to spend a bit of time away from the craziness in Gstaad during tennis week, and found this little gem just down the road. Family owned and operated for over 100 years, and the staff are incredibly friendly as well as accommodating. Breakfast on the terrasse is a bonus in the Summer months. Thank you for having us!

We travelled to Schonried to visit friends and the hotel and surroundings were stunning. Fresh snow in the mountains and bright sunny days for hiking then returning to the hotel to first class meals! The rooms are lovely and spacious and the views from our patio were breathtaking! Try the 10 course tasting menu- you won’t be disappointed! Train trip is lovely as well!

The room faced the main road, and for some reason was overheated to an uncomfortable level, so I did not sleep well for the first night as opening the window meant noise from the traffic nearby. Wonderful very good Youth Hostel, close to Saanen and Gstaad, parking must be reserved bofore getting there. Public transport nearby. Plenty of walking trails close by.

Super friendly staff, very good location, easily accessible by public transport. The room wasn't completely clean, sorry. But I'd be happy to come back.
