Absolutely lovely great for walking!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming , beautiful, old world style hotel. Don’t miss the incredible jazz club downstairs with talented performers and a devoted friendly crowd. The owners are hands on and pay attention to every detail. The staff is the sweetest and most helpful I’ve ever experienced. The rooms are immaculately clean , beds comfortable and have lovely views. The location is perfect - just out of the bustle and noise of Bern but a quick ride in. The bus ride is free with your stay and stops right in front of the hotel. The restaurant serves lovely dinners and the breakfast is a dream , your cappuccino surrounded by a view of the alps. A favorite memory is having an afternoon drink in the beautiful park cafe , with locals popping in to meet friends or playing a game of mini golf with their kids. The surrounding area is gorgeous for a walk or bike ride. It’s the perfect place to stay in Bern. I miss it already !

Classy hotel, large room and bathroom. Not downtown, but only four short stops by bus from the train station, and the bus comes often and stops right in front of the hotel.

What a beautiful location over looking a field and view of the mountains. Was like a postcard. Staff was super friendly. The room we had was small but only were there to sleep. Staff were all super friendly and breakfast was good.

The staff were so friendly and decoration was cute.
The breakfast was awful and doesn’t worth it at all. The room is full of insects and spiders. It’s more like 3 star hotel than 4 star

Very helpful staff who made sure we were aware of everything we needed to know and were always on hand. The room was huge and had air conditioning. Very comfy bed. Breakfast was the only meal we had in but it was of a great quality and variety. The bus stops right outside the hotel door and takes you down to town or the train station and it’s free for visitors!

Overpriced, front desk staff are highly inauthentic and disingenuous. There is a door code to be used after hours, which was given to us upon checkin. Halfway through our stay they changed the door code without any sort of heads up or information. Due to this we came back one evening and could simply no longer enter the hotel and the “emergency/night phone” was not in service. If it were not for another fellow guest who happened to have his window open, we as tourists would have been stuck on the street with no place to go at midnight. This hotel failed in its core competence as a Hotel, which is providing someone a bed to sleep in and that is unacceptable. Receiving a “sorry” and a breakfast voucher is borderline insulting.
