Bellaval Hotel & Restaurant in Scuol

We stayed in the hotel for a week. It was way more than we could expect.
The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to accommodate ones needs. The food is absolutely delicious and the prices are fair. Even when the entire restaurant is full, the order is picked up and processed quickly.

From the balcony you get a stunning view of the mountains. The locations is great, since both the cable car and bus/train are just a 2min walk away, there are many possibilities for day trips.

We were incredibly lucky to have found this hotel. After an unfortunate car accident somewhere between the Swiss and Austrian border, the tow truck brought us back to Scuol, where we needed to find a place to stay for the night. Initially, we came here just for dinner to process the shock, but to our relief, they had a room available.

The owner and his staff were lovely, especially Thomas, who welcomed us with warmth and kindness, even offering us a discount to help after the accident. His generosity and hospitality made all the difference on what had been one of the worst nights of our lives.

The hotel itself is beautiful and perfectly situated, close to everything. We didn’t have the time or the heart to enjoy the pool and spa, but in that moment, what we needed most wasn’t luxury. It was comfort. It was kindness. And that’s exactly what we found.

Lovely hotel in Scuol! The hotel is conveniently located near the train station and the cable car. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and had a wonderful view of the mountains!

Very convenient location, next to the train/bus station but no noise. Very nice people, multi language and clients oriented. EXCELLENT buffet breakfast, amasing choices, all products Very high quality. Very nice SPA, quiet pool, efficient hamam, nice sauna. This hotel was waaay above our expectation, we'll come back FOR SURE.

We stayed at Bellaval as a family for five days during the Christmas holidays, and it was a wonderful experience! Despite being rated as a 3-star hotel, the service and hospitality made us feel like we were in a higher category. The hostess and staff were incredibly friendly, creating a warm, welcoming, and casual atmosphere that made us feel right at home.

The food was excellent, with delicious vegetarian options available every day. I especially appreciated their innovative half-portion concept—an ideal and sustainable choice for those with smaller appetites, like me.

The wine list was truly impressive, offering a wide variety of options to suit all tastes and budgets—even including selections from open bottles. I never would have expected such an extensive selection in a relatively small hotel!

The hotel was spotless, and its location couldn’t be more convenient: just a few minutes’ walk from the main train and bus stations, and directly across from the ski lift. We were even able to purchase our ski passes at the hotel, which came with a fantastic deal.

Another standout feature was how dog-friendly the hotel is, making it perfect for families traveling with pets. Scuol itself is a charming town, offering plenty of activities even in winter beyond skiing.

This was a memorable stay, and I can’t wait to return with more time to explore!

The hotel is in a strategic position for users of public transport. It offers the 3 star quality expected from Swiss hotels. Inside, lots of Swiss Pine panels give an authentic flair. Everyone is very cordial and the food is excellent, a good deal is offered through the half board option. Local specialties are also served. Breakfast is abundant and fresh. I enjoyed the stay, albeit just for a weekend during a business trip.

The tenderloin here is cooked to perfection. I don't know how they do it. Delicious!
