Hotels in Khudzhand

I stayed here with my tour group. The hotel overlooks a very tired river. My room was comfortable and the aircon worked but the shower was terrible. Couldn't regulate the hot/cold at all, so gave up. Had a very nice dinner in the outside restaurant. Other than that, it's pretty forgetable.

Environment: It is a river view hotel on the riverside Hygiene: Clean, hygienic Facilities: Complete facilities, including a gym Service: The service attitude was very good. The waiter took the initiative to deliver my luggage to the room.

Check in staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was huge with a balcony overlooking a not so great river. Supplemental AC was struggling to cool the room. Not much on TV selection. Bed was fairly comfortable. Restaurant inn the e hotel is OK but go before disco starts at 8PM. Not a bad stay.

We had a large room on the second floor overlooking the river & terrace area. We were warned of the live music that was on in the restaurant & terrace each night but it was really loud. Also, any noise in the corridor was easily heard, so much so we had two nights with broken sleep. Facilities in the room were good & internet was fast. Breakfast however needs improvement. Very clean, comfortable hotel, a delightful visit. Particular mention to the chap on the front desk, Farhodjon, who was exemplary is assisting us explore the town. A true professional and ambassador for the hotel. My room was on the top floor overlooking the road and although it was a Friday night we had no issues with noise.

Nice place on the banks of the river and good atmosphere, but the prices are great, but for such a hotel it is not pathetic, and the bathhouse is not bad

The hospitality of the owner is outstanding

One would have to say it is the location that sets this hotel apart. All rooms have wonderful views over the lake. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was adequate but served in a stuffy room. A swimming pool is available to cool off. There are loads of stairs here so not suited for those with mobility issues.

Contrary to what we had read, Maria and I thought that Hotel Firuz was a very good Hotel. It is about 5 k's outside of the city centre. Our Room was provided with air conditioning and all other necessities. The breafast was good and to our satisfaction.

This hotel is in a great location, with nice views of the river. It is a short walk away and makes a beautiful evening stroll location. The rooms here are large and bed is comfy. The breakfast is a bit meh but I suppose people don't stay at hotels for that. I would definitely stay here again next time i am in the area

Kamile was superb. She was very helpful and really made us feel like VIP guests. She offered some great suggestions on things to do and excellent directions. The hotel’s location is very convenient. The restaurant has great food and attentive service.

The hotel is more like a guest house, but the restoration & service is more like 3 stars. In general, this place was intended for other services, but in the end it became a hotel. The location is perfect 5*, the bed is great. For business purposes, a good choice. I recommend.. 👍

We really liked this hotel. It was clean and a person in administration was polite the we arrived. The breakfast was very delicious. I'm only dissatisfied with the services they provide like ironing. Firstly, they didn't iron my clothes as it was supposed to be. Excellent hotel. There are large spacious rooms. Polite staff. Breakfast and dinner are included. Located in a very convenient location in the center of Khujand. Near the wonderful park and river, beautiful ancient fortress.

Excellent hotel with good location, extremely clean and comfortable. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff. The atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me . All respect to staff and to the general manager who does a great job here . A true sample of excellent hospitality.!

The Khujand Deluxe Hotel tried its best but it is nowhere near a 4 star hotel. Upon arrival there was a power blackout and the tiny lift stopped, luckily there was nobody in it. The hotel itself was fine, breakfast was meh, the rooms were nothing special (and had a lot of hairs from a prior guest / staff), but the guy working at the front desk did really seem to care about making sure my stay was as good as possible. They have laundry here (there are no laundromats in Tajikistan as of 2025) but it’s very expensive even compared to USA prices.

We had an exceptionally large apartment style room (separate bedroom, kitchen, living room and bathroom) more suitable for a family though without the extra beds. Others in our group were less fortunate. Room was quite dated but OK (70’s - 90’s) furnished in Tajik/Soviet style. Maybe ‘deluxe’ back then. Good for novelty value. The room was large enough and the bed OK. However, the water was only luke warm and I could't stop the sweep on the AC so I was in a draught. The lift is tiny. There was a balcony but kids were squealing outside until after 10.30pm. Breakfast wasn't bad.

I stayed at Khujand Deluxe Hotel for one night in transit from Tashkent to Dushanbe. The hotel is located in a peaceful part of Khujand but within walking distance of the river, downtown, and several restaurants. It's not really a deluxe accommodation, but not bad either. Our room actually had two rooms, so it was very spacious and a small balcony was nice too. Ok breakfast. Location is not very central, but there are some commercial services nearby. The biggest drawback is the tiny and very slow lift.

Perfectly located near the Fort and Theatre and close to the main road to catch a bus to the bazar, mausoleum and masjid. Spacious comfortable room with good AC and wifi. A little dated perhaps but adequate with multiple businesses going on. We chose to skip the inclusive breakfast in the pizza restaurant and opted to go nearby alternative options. The hard product of the hotel is pretty good, although rooms are on the small side. Service is quite poor, however. Our room wasn't cleaned during the day and little English is spoken. Wi-Fi is very poor. The restaurant has the worst food we had in Tajikistan.

Value for money, simple breakfast, convenient location , helping staff, 24 hour money exchange near by, good restaurants in the locality

So beautiful hotel and and polite staff . The hotel is located in easy access to all you need during day and night, the breakfast was very healthy and delicious.

We had a wonderful stay at Khujand Star Hotel. It is super central and brand new. We booked a twin room, the most budget option, for 250 Somoni including breakfast! It was a spacious room, all new, with comfy beds, aircon and beautiful bathroom with nice, hot shower and toiletries available. Good wifi. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. Possibly this is the best value for money in Khujand...

This place is in desperate need of an update. Things were acceptably clean, but it’s a 1970s Soviet time warp. The room was very stark and very brown. We were told that oftentimes you had to choose between having electricity or having hot water. I stayed here only one night. The location is very good. It took quite a while to get checked in, but I finally made it. The room was surprisingly small, but it was clean. The bed was also sufficiently comfortable. Breakfast was OK but nothing to get excited about. I would probably consider another hotel if I was in town again. But I admit that it may not be possible to improve on this choice.

Stayed for one night with a group. Hotel has excellent location and looks great from the outside but the interior is rather run down and not well kept. The staff is not helpful and rude.

This hotel has had some poor ratings but they seemed undeserved from our point of view. Located near the fortress this is a large hotel and rooms are a comfortable size, as was the bed. Yet again there was a lack of pillows but at least the TV and WiFi worked well. Breakfast was clearly not ready when we arrived just after 7 but items did finally arrive.

Gorgeous room commensurate with the price. New construction. No cigarette odor. No carpet. Good floor plan. A/C worked great. Window opens to nice courtyard. Nice stay.

Good Hotel For Stay In Khujand

We were a family of three but they gave us a room with two beds and one of had to sleep on the floor but it was comfy and l had no problem with it The room is clean and big enough and had fridge which is good because some hotels don’t have that overall it was good but its bathroom lacked some things like shampoo

Foreigners are not advised to stay here. There are no toiletries provided, and it's basically a converted private home. The cleanliness is acceptable, but the location is so-so. There's a river in front of the house.

The location is great: close to all the major attractions. If you want to get to thr hotel from the airport, take bus 80 and get off right after the bridge. The cost is 3.5 somon. There's no breakfast provided - try "Moose coffee" not so far (they are great). The floor felt dusty, and the towels looked worn out. There's soap and toilet paper, but no toothbrush or toothpaste. The hotel environment is good, and the surrounding transportation is convenient. I was transiting here for a day on my way to Dushanbe. The boss was very nice. Because the check-in time was relatively late, I discussed with the boss whether I could delay the check-out to 6 pm for free. The boss readily agreed. Good review!

Great little guesthouse next to the street markets, probably the best option in Khujand for budget travelers. Super nice staff too that helped me find the right bus station.

Nice little hostel. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. One of them speaks good English. We were allowed to place our bikes inside the yard to keep them save, which was great. The kitchen is more of a tea and coffee kitchen (both free), not for proper cooking. But there are plenty of food options at the nearby bazar. I booked via a notable online booking platform for 7 nights, which was lower in price than 6 nights (presumably a promotion?), and I booked with the intention of relaxing and concluding some administration having been travelling for several months. Excellent health resort complex, located on the shores of the Tajik Sea. The resort has several modern buildings with comfortable rooms. The food is delicious, three meals a day. In the summer, different events are held every day. The only prices are slightly inflated

It's a sanitorium rather than a resort. Spread over a large area it has really cool natural beauty and plantations. Also is situated beside Tajik sea. It's said to have nice health facilities that we still have to try. Buildings are Soviet style but have been renovated. You will get a feeling of Soviet style all through the place. Very nice place to rest from the city mess. For Tajikistan level this place is just TOP. You have a pool, club, restaurants, spa... And the river view on Syrdarya is absolutely amazing! I would love to come here one more time
