Baan Tangkwa in xamphwa

It's a cafe, coffee shop, restaurant, and homestay accommodation located by the river. There are many beautiful photo spots, a nice and peaceful atmosphere, and you can even see fireflies at night. They have a BBQ grill so you can order a Thai-style hot pot meal. It would be great fun for a group of 4-5 friends. The entrance is a little hidden, but overall, everything is excellent.

It's a 2.5-hour drive from Bangkok by rental car. We stayed here to visit Amphawa Floating Market and Maeklong Market. There's parking available. It's a wonderful riverfront guesthouse. All the other guests were Thai. The owners are a kind Thai couple. The design is cute and tasteful. There are playground equipment, making it perfect for families with children. There's also a cafe, so you can have lunch there.

For dinner, there's a noodle shop near the 7-Eleven, and next to it, a Thai izakaya restaurant that's open until 2 AM. It's in a great location, just over 10 minutes by car from Maeklong Market and Amphawa Floating Market. There are chairs and tables scattered throughout the grounds, so you can relax anywhere. During the day, pleasant Thai pop music plays in the background.

On the first day, we stayed in a bungalow-type private room on the parking lot side for 700 baht. It had balconies on both the front and back, which was fantastic. The environment was so good that we decided to extend our stay.

For the second night, I got a different room – a bungalow-type room, the entire second floor to myself, with a large balcony, for 1200 baht.

Apparently, not many Japanese people stay at this guesthouse. The plumbing wasn't great, but it was a fantastic place to stay. Next time, I'd like to stay for about a week.

Beautifull place with very nice garden. The best place to relax. The owner is very kind and she prepared for us breakfast every morning.

Good accommodation, good atmosphere, the owner is very cute, takes care of everything, missing something to find all the time. I'm going again ☺️☺️☺️

The atmosphere is very good, quiet, suitable for relaxation. Most importantly, Phi Bee (the owner) is very cute and very friendly 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Quiet, clean, safe, the owner is very nice and kind. There is a dining area along the Mae Klong River.
There is bread and coffee service as if we were staying in our own house.
