Baan Benjathip in xamphwa

+ The place has some bad reviews. I was pretty skeptical when I arrived but I was surprised. Sure, it’s not a luxury resort but you pay for what you get. For me it facilitates were absolutely fine - big bed, spacious room with a fridge and a couch, a table. Great bonus was host’s hospitality who facilitated me to visit that kha market , which was awesome and non touristy. Thank you!
- The hotel is not very modern and it’s a bit of a walk to the market. Not to much though and the neighborhood is safe and quiet. The electric shower didn’t worked but I didn’t bother trying to fix it or change the room because it was just 1 night. I do recommend the place anyhow!

We enjoyed our stay there. Only 700 m distance from the Amphawa floating market. You will get free hot and cold water here. You can rent a cycle for 20 baht only. The staffs were helpful.

Bicycle tourist here. Bicycle can go in the room. Around 600 bhat. Good people. I accident booked the wrong day and paid with agoda. When I arrived they gave me a discount for the room. Thank you very much.

Perfect location, situated at a walking distance to the floating market. Nice staff, AC in the rooms, very clean. The landlady gave me a ride to the minivan station and talked for my ticket to Bangkok. She also set up a tuk tuk for me to go to the Damnoen Saduak Market. Very friendly and helpful, I wish I could have stayed more.

We had a very nice stay of 3 days at Baan Benjathip. The owner and the staff are extremely helpful. This is surely our staying place whenever we visit Amphawa next. A home away from home !

About the hotel
1. Simple setup, colorful from the outside, clear signage once you arrive.
2. Kudos to the staff. Kind and helpful which make my stay very pleasant. Thanks also to her sister which showing me firefly at middle of night though most of time we were using sign language. Keep it up!
3. My room is clean and spacious!
4. Free bicycle. If you find it has not enough air in the tyre, you can ask the staff to help you fill it. For me, she help me to check the air before I go off.
5. Very relaxing and peaceful surrounding.
6. Free coffee and Ovaltine all day. Great!

Hotel location
1. This is what makes this hotel worth the value to stay.
2. Located very near to floating market.

Area of improvement:-
1. You may need a small bell near your reception so that when you are not around and there is guest arrive, you can hear it.
2. You may want to display the nearby attraction in each room or at prominent area, e.g. near reception.
3. May consider provide simple local delicacy for breakfast during peak time.
