We stayed for 1 night. The bed was comfortable and well equipped.
However;
- 😖 the bathroom stinks so much.
- 📣 you hear every noises of other rooms. And at 5h30 am a group of the hotel started doing its gym outside.
- 🥪 breakfast is a shame. You have nothing. White cheap bread, no fruits. Cold eggs or sausages.
The only positive thing is the view over the river.
I also paid extra for "Buffet breakfast ", which in truth was absolutely shockingly bad. Breakfast is between 7am and 9am. I arrived at 8.
The buffet consisted of:
Cold fried eggs.
Tiny sausages (which I never eat).
Cheap white bread.
Lukewarm Tea/coffee/
Water.
Jok Thai rice soup.
Oh..and a little cut melon.
I deliberately try never to expect much but that was a shock.😳
Sorry but the whole experience was bad value..for me anyway. :(
Friendly staff, great view of riverside, clean room. Bar and restaurant on site, and lots of places within easy walk. Massage, Thai food, and even a great little place with Mecican.
One word of caution.. No elevator.. There are some rooms on street level (3 rd floor) and if you need handicap request on booking.
All in all, if you are coming to go across to Laos or just visiting this is a good choice to stay.
