Sleeping Well Chiangkhong - Hostel in Amphoe Chiang Khaung

Stayed here for only one night, which was probably enough.
We booked a double room with private bathroom, room has A/C but is incredibly small. The mattress is reasonably comfy but is pretty much on the floor. Near a small supermarket, some restaurants and some coin laundry too.
Good for one night before heading over to Laos.

Nice simple hotel. What we needed for a stop on the way . It’s clean and well located , the room is nice and in the common area you have all you need .

Perfect stay if you are travelling from Chiang Khong to Luang Prabang. Very comfy beds, affordable, AC and clean. Friendly staff. Short tuk tuk to the border. They also have a balcony on the top floor. Perfect to watch the sunset. Across the road is blues bar cafe to get something for the journey.

I really enjoyed my stay here to the point I kept booking, it’s cheaper on Agoda than at the reception. The staff was very nice and cleaned the rooms well.

You have laundromat at the entry which is very convenient.

The common area is practical with a fridge and a microwave. You can eat at the table inside with ac or outside to look at the view.

We stayed in the private double bed room and shared bathroom and it was very clean. The only time it was clean is because of a groupe of guys that didn’t flush the toilets and were high, but other than that we had no problems here.

We had a spotless, quiet and comfy private room, with large double bed and decent en suite. This was really great value for money for our one night stay ahead of the border crossing to Laos. We’d happily have stayed longer to explore the town a bit more. The bar opposite changed Bhat to Kip at a good rate. Plenty of eateries around, plus a roadside locals market (on the Saturday we were there). Didn’t visit the night market by the river, but others did and said it was good. There were a couple of temples within walking distance as a bonus. Friendly, easy check in and self check out for us. I’d definitely recommend.

Good service. Staff may not be there all the time, but they have good management methods. It's a self-service hotel, suitable for travelers. The atmosphere is good.

Hard to rate for us. Rims at pretty nice but not as good as other places we've stayed. Common areas are great and we had a private bathroom which was nice. Close to great food and perry close to where the bus from chiang rai drops you off. Rooms are adequate and for the price, I give it 4 stars. There are a lot of stairs but you should know that from the pictures.

We booked villa with a view and big windows and didn’t notice about ceiling height. It is really uncomfortable
