Namkhong Guesthouse & Resort in Amphoe Chiang Khaung

This stay was extremely poor and completely failed to meet my expectations. Specific problems include:

1. Poor soundproofing: I was disturbed by rats in the room late last night and couldn't sleep. I could also clearly hear the snoring of the guests next door, offering absolutely no privacy and severely impacting my rest.

2. Inadequate infrastructure: There are three shared bathrooms, two of which lacked hot water, making washing up extremely inconvenient. The Wi-Fi signal in the rooms was extremely weak, practically unusable, causing significant disruption to work and entertainment. Mosquitoes were also present in the rooms, biting and disturbing my rest.

3. Inadequate service response: I immediately informed the front desk after discovering the problems, hoping for a proper resolution or at least a reasonable response. However, the front desk neither apologized nor took any effective measures to address the issue, simply providing a pot of mosquito repellent herbs. They completely ignored my actual needs and my terrible experience, demonstrating a disappointing service attitude.

As a paying customer, I failed to receive a basic comfortable living environment and the expected service guarantees. This experience was extremely poor, and I do not recommend this hostel to other travelers.

1. Poor sound insulation: I was woken up by a mouse in the room late last night, making it impossible to sleep peacefully. Meanwhile, I could clearly hear the snoring from the neighboring room, with no sense of privacy at all, which seriously affected the quality of rest.
2. Faulty infrastructure: Among the three public bathrooms, two failed to provide hot water, causing great inconvenience for washing. The Wi-Fi signal in the room was extremely weak and basically unusable, bringing significant trouble to work and entertainment. Additionally, there were mosquitoes in the room, and their bites disturbed my rest.
3. Perfunctory service response: I reported the problems to the front desk immediately after discovering them, hoping for a proper solution or at least a reasonable response. However, the front desk neither apologized nor took effective measures to address the issues, only providing a plate of mosquito coils to dismiss me. They completely ignored the guest’s actual needs and terrible experience, and the service attitude was very disappointing.

As a paying customer, I failed to obtain a basic comfortable living environment and the due service guarantee. This stay was extremely unpleasant, and I do not recommend this hostel to other travelers.
