Great small hotel. Friendly staff... Great pool and not to far from Patong and Kamala but you do need a scooter to get around

Great hotel with pool access from every room and direct access to cool beach ! Bed are very uncomfortable though

The island is Muslim , so outside of the resort there are no bars. Great for families and couples.

We stayed at Blue Bay Resort in Koh Yao Yai for 2 nights. The gym is simple but well-equipped, and it was pleasantly cool with air conditioning. The hotel grounds are very well maintained and beautiful. Overall, the hotel feels very family-oriented and suitable for a relaxing stay.

Blue Bay Resort Review We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Blue Bay Resort. The highlight was definitely the room with direct access to the pool—so convenient for a morning swim. The beach is great, and the complimentary canoes made it easy to get out on the water. We also loved the daily happy hour featuring smoothies and cocktails. Beautiful place. Rooms, pool and beach were excellent. Lots of families and couples so as a solo traveller felt a bit out of place. The restaurant was good but one night I was ignored for 30 minutes as there was a large party in. The staff, especially the cleaning and maintenance were superb over the four nights. So friendly and make you feel at home.

Good view and excellent service, located close to the beach and sea. The sunset is romantic.

The location is fab for a nice view and walks. Food was great and staff were very helpful

My stay at this hotel was really good, the room was very big and spacious, the bathroom was clean and also spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful, I always felt like they were willing to help whenever I asked. The breakfast was amazing, plenty of options and there was always everything available whatever time I went, there were 2 X bread stations so no waiting, eggs were cooked fresh...

Booked for 2 days but increased another two days as loved the beach, pool and the entire vibe of the resort.

A lot of room for improvement. Service - check in was chaotic, staff members almost too scared to look up to see who is there for them to help. Our room wasn’t ready which was fine as we were a little early. Came back a 3 hours later, 3 members of staff free all talking amongst themselves.. again no one wanted to look up. Eventually someone acknowledged me and got our room sorted. Beach bar - massively...

Could have been great but wasn’t. Nowhere to eat. Hotel restaurant was bad and expensive. Room wasn’t ready. Reception was chaos - lots of irate guests trying to check in. Staff had no idea how to deal with customers. Booked rooms together. 1 was in block A and the other was in block D! No urgency or attentiveness from staff. They just all seemed like they were not being well managed and the guests...

The hotel was stunning, really awesome buildings and amenities! The beach is so pretty and the massage is a nice touch to the experience. The only problem is the wifi connection, very slow and sometimes not existent.

Excellent hotel. The location is excellent, the beach is clean and sandy. The service is excellent. We really liked it. The rooms are spacious, clean, no complaints. The territory has everything you need, a bar, a restaurant, etc. The island itself is also very colorful, quiet and calm.

I loved it here and would go back tomorrow. I stayed as a solo female traveller and I felt really welcome and completely safe. Great room, the bathroom is a dream! The pool is amazing, I spent hours in it just chilling and looking out over the beautiful view. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great. Food in the restaurant is tasty and good value. A nice café is a 5 minute walk away...

This resort does not disappoint! From the moment of arrival to leaving our stay was outstanding! This is our second stay at this resort and personally we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The cleanliness of our room and our pool were second to none! Thank you to the whole team for another awesome 5 night stay!!!

Nice resort, friendly staff and incredible view from our villa! Nice food from their resturant. Only thing I would mention is our villa could of used some better a/c struggled keeping the room cool.

We had the best stay at this Resort. We‘re very thankful for the Hotel staff. They have been always friendly and let us feel like being home. The Food was excellent to every hour. We enjoyed the opportunity of laundry Service, the everyday cleaned Room, motorcycle Rent and organization for every Trip we was Planning to do. Thank you very much 🙏 ขอบคุณค่ะ

The welcoming and service at this hotel is equal to none. I was poor thing when I arrived here, as I what stepped on a sea urchin and my foot was hurting, but everyone took great care of me offering advice, treats and services. Breakfast was also a very nice surprise. Loved every bit of this place and will surely book again! Also, location wise, the beach is really nice and everything is walking distence...

What a great little private set of bungalows! Spacious, immaculately clean, great service and fabulous views! Da-da spoke pretty good English and was super helpful. She arranged collection from the ferry at 100bt per person and we also rented a scooter for 2 days, at 300bt per day. You can organise breakfast if needed, we didn't bother, opting to eat out late morning.

This was our favourite stay of our holiday. The lady who runs the hotel is absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to make our experience magical. They are great at responding on Facebook messenger for any questions. Everything went smoothly and the view from the rooms is gorgeous. Perfect for a relaxing quiet stay.

Beautiful Sunrises and Great Service My entire experience at Sunrise Beach was great. Friendly service, and the bungalows were roomy and very clean. They also rented motorbikes and offered laundry service …and of course great sunrises!!

We enjoyed how quiet the property was. We experienced a couple of issues with A/C and hot water but someone came to fix right away. Very respectful people. So glad we took pictures of the scooter we rented as the “company” they rented from wanted to charge us for damage that was already done!

We expected less from the hotel, but got more! I haven't seen a single bad review about this hotel - that's how it is! We had the pleasure of staying at the Resting Place and wow is all I can say!! Upon arrival we had fresh juice waiting for us as well as the option for scooter rental. The owner coordinated pick up from the pier and had our AC waiting for us in our bungalows. 10/10 would recommend this spot to anyone!! After check out the owner organized a boat to take us back to Phuket and had someone waiting in Phuket...

Mr Yon was very helpful and very friendly when helping us with arranging transport and with all the little things. The rooms have a nice view on the sea and the breakfast was pleasant. Room facilities were good, but maybe it would be good to prevent the mosquitos from entering the bathroom.

A wonderful little hotel set in the hills of Koh Yao yi. The rooms were lovely, with beautiful views out over the trees and water. A spacious balcony with a little table made the view easy to enjoy.
