Sunrise Beach Koh Yao Resort in Koh Yao Yai

The welcoming and service at this hotel is equal to none.
I was poor thing when I arrived here, as I what stepped on a sea urchin and my foot was hurting, but everyone took great care of me offering advice, treats and services.
Breakfast was also a very nice surprise. Loved every bit of this place and will surely book again!
Also, location wise, the beach is really nice and everything is walking distence from here. What can you ask more?

What a great little private set of bungalows! Spacious, immaculately clean, great service and fabulous views! Da-da spoke pretty good English and was super helpful.  She arranged collection from the ferry at 100bt per person and we also rented a scooter for 2 days, at 300bt per day. You can organise breakfast if needed, we didn't bother, opting to eat out late morning.

This was our favourite stay of our holiday. The lady who runs the hotel is absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to make our experience magical. They are great at responding on Facebook messenger for any questions. Everything went smoothly and the view from the rooms is gorgeous. Perfect for a relaxing quiet stay.

Beautiful Sunrises and Great Service
My entire experience at Sunrise Beach was great. Friendly service, and the bungalows were roomy and very clean. They also rented motorbikes and offered laundry service …and of course great sunrises!!

We enjoyed how quiet the property was. We experienced a couple of issues with A/C and hot water but someone came to fix right away. Very respectful people. So glad we took pictures of the scooter we rented as the “company” they rented from wanted to charge us for damage that was already done!

We expected less from the hotel, but got more! I haven't seen a single bad review about this hotel - that's how it is! Despite the fact that there is no private exit to the beach (walk a little to the right about 300-400 meters - you can go out to the sandy-rocky beach and swim to your heart's content (which is what we did on the first day of arrival). Modern, separate, fresh houses (there are about five or six of them). Your own open veranda with furniture, everything inside the room is fresh: both furniture and interior, modern and neat. Three towels per person, a robe, there is a place for drying clothes. In the morning we met the dawn, and in the evening we admired the distant lights of Krabi. During the day, delightful landscapes opened up - there are so many islands in this bay that they make up a separate picture that you can admire every day (you don't need a TV or a phone). Pure nature, clean sea and incredible beauty. We took a motorbike (the young owner Bi helped us with everything - despite the fact that we communicated through a translator); it should be noted that the Wi-Fi is good! We rode the bike along the local famous beaches (which are sparsely populated and cozy). We were there for only two nights - and that's not enough, you need to stay longer. Breakfast was provided upon request (fresh juice, fruit, rice to choose from, etc.) Everything was prepared with soul and love. I recommend this hotel to everyone! The price is not high - and the quality is excellent!

I thought it was cute, generally clean and management very polite and accommodating.
They helped us find motorcycles to rent, gave us a map, offered to wash, dry and fold our dirty laundry (for a reasonable fee). They even called us a taxi for our next stay on the island!

A great hotel for those who love and appreciate silence with beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Take a bike and ride all over the beaches, and come back here to relax and listen to the silence and the sea

Wish I stayed longer
No frills family run hotel, with beach front. It’s quiet. The owner is very friendly and willing to scooter you around. The family does it all, not sure there’ll be anyone available after bedtime :) it was the cleanest hotel I stayed at in Thailand. And I stayed at 5! No entertainment, spa etc. Super chill, family run and just what I needed. I wish I stayed longer here. Very rural.

It's a family run small business and they really make you feel welcome and included.
Our bungalow was immaculate and well appointed........ with a sea view too. No pool but easy walk to to swim at high tide.
Would definitely recommend staying there.
