Elixir Resort Koh YAO Yai in Koh Yao Yai

This was our first time on Yao Yai.
In short, we're here for relaxation...
Be sure to check the tide chart to swim at a time that's convenient for you.
It's very quiet and peaceful. The breakfasts are delicious, European-style.
We stayed in a Deluxe Villa on the top floor. Everything was wonderful. They provided a free bed for our child. Special thanks for that ❤️
We also had dinner at the hotel, and everything was delicious.
The pool is always uncrowded, and the bar is open.
All reservations must be signed for in the room, with payment upon checkout... As with many hotels.
The staff is wonderful. The grounds are well-maintained and very beautiful.
At our request via email, we were provided with a roundtrip transfer from the pier for 700 baht each way.

The hotel area is very beautiful

It is a perfect getaway, even during low season. We enjoyed 3 nights of silence, a private boat trip and dinner at dining deck. If you do not mind not swimming in the sea, go for it! Staff, villas, environment are very good. We were that happy that we forgot the room key with us :D

PS. Do not leave your macbook (or any laptop gets colder than the environment itself) somewhere reachable for ants, they like cold and closed environment and can try to carry their colony to your laptop :D

The hotel is not so big but very cute. Thai style room and with super welcomed stuff, they are so polite! Breakfast is nice, you have a lot of choice, western and Thai. I like to eat dinner here and watching sunset. The price is expensive then the local restaurant but also reasonable, and the taste is very good. Tiki bar has happy hour from 5-7pm. Perfect time to watch sunset. The beach and pool never crowded, a perfect place for get away and relaxing. In the afternoon there are a lot of crabs to catch. There are 3 very cute dogs in this resort. If you want to have a quiet vacation and only enjoy, relaxing, I recommend this hotel.

A True Hidden Paradise – Eixire Resort is Heaven on Earth!

I recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Eixire Resort on Koh Yao Yai, and I can honestly say it is nothing short of heaven on Earth! The pictures on their website don’t do justice to the real beauty of this place. The resort is a true paradise nestled in nature, with breathtaking views, peaceful surroundings, and every detail carefully curated to perfection.

Amazing Hospitality & Management:
From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. The level of care and attention we received was second to none. They were always there to assist, with smiles that truly reflected the warmth of Thai culture. Special thanks to the management, who made every effort to ensure our stay was flawless, making us feel welcome and appreciated.

A Culinary Masterpiece:
The restaurant experience was simply spectacular. The chef delivered some of the best meals I have ever tasted! The food was not only delicious but presented in an artistic and professional manner. Every dish was a combination of taste, visual beauty, and freshness. The service in the restaurant was just as impressive, with attention to detail and a genuine desire to make the dining experience memorable.

Immaculate Grounds:
The resort itself is a sanctuary of tranquility, with lush greenery, pristine pools, and breathtaking views of the sea. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Every inch of the resort radiates peace, making it the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate.

Commitment to the Environment:
One thing worth mentioning is the resort’s dedication to keeping the area clean, especially given the external factors affecting the beach. Unfortunately, some rubbish drifts in from the ocean due to winds and currents, which is beyond the control of the resort. Despite this, the management and staff do an incredible job keeping the grounds clean and beautiful. I would encourage future guests and the wider community to do their part in helping preserve the island’s beauty by joining the resort's efforts to maintain the pristine environment.

Final Thoughts:
Eixire Resort is a place I will never forget. It’s more than just a vacation spot – it’s a piece of paradise, and the team behind it is what makes it truly special. If you’re looking for serenity, impeccable service, and a place that feels like home in nature, look no further. My only suggestion is that their website and advertisements cannot fully capture the magic of this resort – you truly have to experience it to believe it!

The hotel was stunning, really awesome buildings and amenities! The beach is so pretty and the massage is a nice touch to the experience. The only problem is the wifi connection, very slow and sometimes not existent.

Excellent hotel. The location is excellent, the beach is clean and sandy. The service is excellent. We really liked it. The rooms are spacious, clean, no complaints. The territory has everything you need, a bar, a restaurant, etc. The island itself is also very colorful, quiet and calm.

The room has a pool and a bathtub and is clean. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious.

We stayed in a Superior Bungalow. The Location was amazing and so relaxing and calme. Very nice, clean Rooms and we loved the Outdoorshower.
The Manager and the reception Staff were very friendly and did a great job, they even made it possible to change our booking from February to March. We tried the restaurants outside on the Road, but sorry we had much better food in the Hotel. Our Kids loved to eat the PeanutButter Chicken Sticks and the Watermelon Shake and we had many amazing Thai Dishes. But I have to mention that the Staff @ the Restaurant was not very friendly and sometimes we had the feeling they just dont want to move and work or smile. Breakfast was okay, they serve all the basics. We didnt like the coffee @ the Restaurant. The main Pool was very warm during our stay and we didnt want to use it because it looked very unhygienic and slimy on the side of the tiles. You really need to improve on that because you always have the tide changes..... We recommend the place to families and couples who wants to be away from the crowds. Thank you for the great week.
