The hotel was stunning, really awesome buildings and amenities! The beach is so pretty and the massage is a nice touch to the experience. The only problem is the wifi connection, very slow and sometimes not existent.

This place is just perfect and we had a wonderful time: private villa yet a “real place” - an island with primary schools, mosques, football ground, plenty of places to eat (La Sala being my absolute favorite!) and warm smiling people. Yes, the hotel has seen better days, but overall it was still decent for the price, and above all, clean. We didn't have any issues with brown water or loose objects in or around the pool. The rooms and villa was very tired and lacking freshness - wallpaper peeling off walls, damp patches, stains ont he celing, and walls, patches were paintings once hung and a general sense that the whole place needed a lcik of paint and some TLC.

Excellent location and our villa was beautiful with an amazing view. The water pressure and temperature were an issue during our stay. We had to run the shower for 5-10 mins before it got warm. Service was also spotty for a hotel with tons of staff. Waiters would routinely forget our food orders and requesting a buggy/golf cart would take 10 mins. Otherwise, it’s a great resort.

The island is Muslim , so outside of the resort there are no bars. Great for families and couples.

We stayed at Blue Bay Resort in Koh Yao Yai for 2 nights. The gym is simple but well-equipped, and it was pleasantly cool with air conditioning. The hotel grounds are very well maintained and beautiful. Overall, the hotel feels very family-oriented and suitable for a relaxing stay.

Beautiful place. Rooms, pool and beach were excellent. Lots of families and couples so as a solo traveller felt a bit out of place. The restaurant was good but one night I was ignored for 30 minutes as there was a large party in. The staff, especially the cleaning and maintenance were superb over the four nights. Could have been great but wasn’t. Nowhere to eat. Hotel restaurant was bad and expensive. Room wasn’t ready. Reception was chaos - lots of irate guests trying to check in. Staff had no idea how to deal with customers. Booked rooms together. 1 was in block A and the other was in block D!  No urgency or attentiveness from staff. They just all seemed like they were not being well managed and the guests...

I loved it here and would go back tomorrow. I stayed as a solo female traveller and I felt really welcome and completely safe. Great room, the bathroom is a dream! The pool is amazing, I spent hours in it just chilling and looking out over the beautiful view. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great. This resort does not disappoint! From the moment of arrival to leaving our stay was outstanding! This is our second stay at this resort and personally we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The cleanliness of our room and our pool were second to none! Thank you to the whole team for another awesome 5 night stay!!!

Nice resort, friendly staff and incredible view from our villa! Nice food from their resturant. Only thing I would mention is our villa could of used some better a/c struggled keeping the room cool.

We had the best stay at this Resort. We‘re very thankful for the Hotel staff. They have been always friendly and let us feel like being home. The Food was excellent to every hour.
