Overall is cool. But if expect bellboy there was not, it's self service. Elevator quite old but still working.

Older hotel and it shows. But clean and friendly stuff. Good because in walkable distance to the railway station and a 7/11. Next to the river with nice restaurant terrasse on the river. Pool ok but almost never direct sun. Big breakfast buffet catering for a big variety of asian and western food.

Our tour group had a lunch buffet at the hotel. Food: 5/5 The selection was excellent ranging from sushi to traditional Thai sweets. The food was tasty and fresh. Service: 5/5 the servers were great in clearing out dishes and replenishing the food. Atmosphere: 5/5 nice ambiance with plenty of seating for large groups

We visited this hotel on a tour and it was very convenient location with lots of things available if you are willing to walk 10-15 mins along the main road. Rooms were fine, check in/out was efficient. Bathrooms were good. Bedding and pillows - very good. Towels smelt clean

I had a great experience at the Kantary Hotel. The staff were excellent and very accommodating, from assisting me with sightseeing and activities, to arranging transport. The room and bathroom very both very spacious and the room had great facilities. I would definitely recommend them and look forward to staying there on my next trip to Ayutthaya.

The room and hotel were exactly as described, and good value for the price. However, Ayutthaya isn't very developed commercially. There's only one 7-Eleven nearby, so breakfast was a bit tricky to sort out.

The hotel room was very clean and well-maintained, which made my stay comfortable from the moment I arrived. The size of the room was just right — not too small to feel cramped and not overly large, so it still felt cozy and practical. The bed was comfortable, and everything was neatly arranged, showing good attention to detail.

The room is nice, but the furniture in the room looks old and the door handle is not very safe. The bathroom lock knob is broken. The room is not soundproof. The atmosphere is good and the view is beautiful.

Booked for me and my friends, perfect experience got the budget. Staff are friendly, called to say my friend forgot some of his items and kept it safe for us to pick up.

Clean and sanitary, the room is very fragrant, and the bed is comfortable. The service lady is very nice, and it is very convenient to have breakfast in the lobby downstairs. This hotel is trustworthy and I will stay here again next time I come back.

This is an ideal 3 star hotel as a base to tour Si Ayutthaya. There's parking behind the hotel. The room has basic amenities. The pool is nice and clean. There are bars & restaurants on the street just to the right of the hotel, 7-11 is diagonally across the road.

There's no hair dryer. The air conditioning is noisy. I wasn't expecting much from the breakfast, but it was fine. The staff were all friendly.

The room is okay. It is more suitable for business purposes. Just staying overnight, not thinking much, it is okay.

The facilities and environment are OK, but most importantly, don't go there without transportation!!! (Remember to rent a car)

The room itself was clean, but there were still bugs.... There are no tourist attractions nearby, so I recommend coming by car. However, I happened to be able to attend a local festival, and they even provided a shuttle there. They were very kind.

This hotel is located right by the river, and its popular brick walls are quite distinctive. It feels like an upscale guesthouse with excellent service. Breakfast is à la carte.

My husband and I enjoyed our first night in Ayutthaya at this lovely property. We had an ensuite courtyard room which was large and beautifully furnished. A neat, clean and new (Chinese owned?) hotel with hight tech rooms and great shower and toilet. The problem was lack of a restaurant that provides lunch and dinner. Given that the hotel is very isolated the only evening option was delivery of KFC. The breakfast is catered for Chinese with no decent coffee. Jams ans butter are served in collective jars! It is also next to a construction site.

Fantastic stay! The hotel is new, rooms are very clean and cozy, and the staff incredibly helpful and always smiling. I wish every hotel had such wonderful people working there. The hotel also has a laundry room, which is a great convenience when you're traveling for a month.

Room is quite new and their facilities are great. Staffs are always welcome. However, location is not good if you want to travel in Ayudhaya for attaction places. Thing that I didn't expect is breakfast, it is chinese style.

The accommodation and service were excellent, and the price was only a little over 1000 baht, including breakfast. I was incredibly impressed! The thing I loved most was the toilet seat – it was always warm whenever you sat on it, I wish I had one at home!

Hotel next to shopping mall Parking at the same place The accommodation is spacious and clean. The room is a little old. But the equipment is complete. Very old hotel in appropriate condition, OK for one night, but nothing more. Breakfast wasn't rich, but you can't ask for more for the price you paid.

The environment is okay, right?

The water heater in the shower is set to the highest setting and is still warm, so I can wash off a cold directly. Moreover, the shower head is fixed and I can barely reach it because I am 178cm tall. Apart from being old, the suite is really big.

Original bungalows in Ayutthaya Very quiet place not so far away from Ayutthaya. Very convenient for families. Each room is a private bungalow. I occuped the first one with view on a big plain. Windows on 270 degrees. Amazing place. All the team is very friendly. Ask for the hotel tuk tuk driver to visit the ancestral city. Definitively recommend this place

We only tried the restaurant as part of our trip, as the hotel wasn't on our itinerary. It's a great place for lunch, in a very pleasant and quiet setting, with excellent and varied cuisine and quality service.

Even though the hotel is a bit old, it was generally clean. The staff were friendly and allowed us to check in two hours early.

Considering the price, it's fair, but there's no hairdryer.

It’s always about the location, location, location. The hotel is very close to Ayutthaya Rail Station and it takes only a 5 minute walk. As the name of the Riverside hotel it overlooks the Pasak River and the view from my room is simply breathtaking. I think if the hotel can improve some facilities for instance providing slippers or body lotions it will certainly give a positive impression to the customers...

The hotel is located very close to Ayutthaya's train station. It also has a large parking lot out front in case guests arrive with their own transport. The rooms were comfortable, well appointed and clean, but were in need of maintenance and repairs. In that respect, they were slightly overpriced for what you got. We stayed two nights. Walking distance to wat Mahathat and other attractions, and also the Bang Lan night market. Very nice small cottages and a reception/dining area surrounding a small pond. Fabulous stop in Ayutthaya. I can see why this place is number 1 on Tripadvisor. We had a deluxe cabin and had a glorious stay. Fab service and wonderful surroundings. Our room to clean, well looked after and had good AC. Host was attentive and we had a great breakfast. Such a lovely place to stay.

Lovely family run guesthouse with attention to detail. Gorgeous gardens and restaurant area overlooking the pond. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and though minimal everything you need was there. Stayed in a dorm in Sep. Bed was comfy an clean, with own light and curtain for each bed. AC worked for the whole day and wifi worked throughout the place. Nice and convenient ensuite showers and bathrooms. Beautiful garden with river view(but ALOT mozzies), simple breakfast was provided. Only con is it's a bit far (abt 22 mins walk) from the pier, keep in mind the weather isn't much better than BKK

Lovely little place! The backyard is the highlight, there's a sitting area right next to the river. The dorms are clean and the privacy curtains are think enough that you almost feel alone. The staff was friendly and can help you book but and train tickets as well as a boat tour around the city. Only downside is since it's right next to the river there's heaps of mosquitos so bring bug spray!

The location of the hotel is okay, and the general decoration is okay. I haven't encountered the so-called poor service mentioned in previous reviews. They are all normal services. The parking lot is large and convenient. Shampoo and soap are also provided in the room. However, you still need toothbrush and toothpaste. Comes with it🤣
