The hotel location is very perfect beside river , nice food in the restaurant . But in room alot of ants walking around .

We would definitely stay here again room was a get size only one thing to pick bathroom could be a lot cleaner mould in the shower and around the bathtub. And the hotel has aged a little but they look like they are renewing some of the rooms overall a tranquil place set by the river and mountains.

Very nice hotel with a large pool. The staff are very courteous and friendly. However, the breakfast desperately needs improvement. There's no fresh juice, and the overall selection is just mediocre.

Rooms were extremely comfortable and cozy with a lot of variety to choose from. The food was also great. Service was fantastic. This resort is a perfect getaway from City Life but has all the amenities that you might possibly need while also being in nature.

Look out for this signboard at the entrance "PH Forest Cafe and Restaurant". A nice restaurant inside the resort, and we had lunch here when en route from Mae Rim to Chiangmai International Airport. We stayed 2 nights fm 28 September 2023. The place was fantastic! The room was clean and well maintained. The surrounding landscape (flowers, plants, Lily ponds, paddy fields) were well maintained too. Loved the view of mountains and paddy fields around us. Non-guests can enter by paying 50 Baht (which can be redeemed when you buy a drink. I bought a strawberry smoothie - 120 Baht ). The statues of running horses and the miniature Singha lion set upon amazing grounds are just fantastic. Lost my gimbal there though, which sadly was never found. Maybe a guest found it and didn't hand it back. :/

The restaurant was great: extensive menu of Thai (including northern Thai specials) and western dishes. Good beer choices (Asahi) and stunning views. Friendly staff and affordable prices. In the evening, there can be a lot of mosquitoes during rainy season, so sit inside!

Weirdest experience of my life. An old drug rehab center turned into a hotel. We were the only people there and they haven't got the hang of the tourist thing yet. Still absolutely beautiful. Also more bugs than any other experience of my life.

The atmosphere of the accommodation is quiet, peaceful, comfortable, with privacy. As for the food and sides, they are delicious local dishes, but the sign indicating the entrance to the resort is still unclear. may get lost But overall it is considered an interesting accommodation.

A wonderful and peaceful stay in the middle of rice fields, with a beautiful garden full of birds, frogs, and fireflies. The bungalow was sweet, with a terrace, and the pool was very cute. We especially loved the Thai local food prepared by the owner for breakfast and dinner, and the overall relaxing atmosphere. It’s a perfect place to unwind while still being close to local attractions.

I cannot rave about this place enough!! It is so picturesque, situated right in the rice paddy with a view of a temple across the way. The hosts Pete and Ying are so accommodating and sweet. You can rent a motorbike for 300 baht a day and go on adventures all over, it’s such a great place.

This is a huge site very spacious and very natural. Deserves the name Retreat because it really has a spiritual Vibe and an active Temple and various places to feel connected. A little bit old and worn in places but excellent price For my forest bungalow. The pool is just about big enough to swim for exercise but not really very big. It will be better if the shower water was hotter and lasted for longer...

It seemed to be a beautiful place. The two bedroom was perfect for a family and is beautiful. Due to the rain, we were not able to use the beautiful balcony. Unfortunately when we checked in, we found the room not well cleaned. When we move a sofa, we saw trash and dust. Thankfully they came and cleaned briefly but the dust was still there. This is now an assisted living facility. It’s truly special. Gorgeous facility on a quiet mountain hillside. Attentive care by an extensive band of trained health care workers. Extensive menu available at each meal. We visit an elderly American friend there regularly.

Good hotel with good location. Not too far from city. Sports activity can be done here such as swimming, jogging and sauna. Food is okay, mostly served with western food. This resort also provide space and care for elders. Wheelchair is accessible. Price is acceptable, THB 1,400 per night for low season. I have been here for more than 5 times. It is recommeded!

Really nice place to stay and great amenities. We rented a room with hot tub though and there was no hot water. One call to the reception was enough and they sent a handy man and it was fixed within an hour. Downside was that it took 4!!! Hours to fill the hot tub as there wasnt a lot of water coming out.

Enjoyed our stay. Our rooms were spacious and clean. The kids pool was great. Nice tranquil setting. The downside, as others have said, was the food. Absolutely amazing! Monoceros Resort feels like a paradise. Cabins in the jungle, all hours swimming pool, a delicious restaurant with vegan options, free bicycles to borrow... Paul and Orm and the staff are super nice and we also met friendly travellers here. It's in a beautiful area near Mae Rim, next to a waterfall and a gorgeous botanic garden. We extended our stay because we loved it so much!

We found this place while staying for Christmas in 2019. We lived in Chiang Mai in 2016-2018 and i have never heard about Amaravati. But as all hotels were full during Christmas and New Year madness, we booked this on booking.com. well...... I lived in Indonesia and Thailand and stayed in many amazing places.... BUT I would say Amaravati can beat many these fantastic places by location, view, amazing...

The hotel itself is nice but quite old, the bathroom unfortunately smelled of pee but instead of cleaning they just used an essential oil burner (which was terrible) to cover the smell.
