When we arrived, we found out that we had booked a room in another section behind the hitel, where you park beside your room. The rooms haven't been renovated and showed their age. The biggest deal-breaker was the mattress. It had springs and was worn out and sloping. We then looked at 5 more rooms and ALL the mattresses were terrible.
The helpful staff said we could upgrade to the newer Superior rooms in the main hotel for +100 baht, but then they didn't have one available for our 4 night booking.
Finally, they offered to upgrade us for +200b per night to their very new YR residence just in front of the hotel.
The staff was very helpful, but I strongly advise against booking a Standard room!!!
