De Sea Almond Hotel Chumphon in Chumphon City

I was fairly concerned after having booked this room, as reviews seemed to make the experience very negative, which I now do not understand ?

You're welcomed into a small hotel, that has its own design, and very special in its creative looks.

The couple who has this hotel, welcomes you, and cater you from the first step, even their dogs greets your , and are happy to meet the new guests.

Rooms has a fridge, a shower with hot water, does it need a screw here and there? yes, but do not let this ruin your experience.

Outside, you have the beach, not necessarily for swimming, but definitely for sticking your feet into the ocean, walk, take beautiful sunrise photos, and just enjoy your morning coffee or late night snacks on one of the sitting areas made .

Bed is fine, clean sheets, comfy pillows, space for your clothes to go on hangers, mirror and wall table. Clean towels are also ready when you move in..

Breakfast is very local Thai , there's rice soup, bread, local coffee, chinese donuts, and bananas, and eggs, enough to start your day...

It seems many who has visited, might have had experience with 4-5 stars hotels with all sorts of fancy things, and took this with them to this place, expecting to be catered on maximum level.

You are being catered, and taken care of like family, it is a heart warming place, that we ,my wife and I will come back to another time , just to experience this welcoming atmosphere, surroundings, and stay.

I really like this place is not about the hotel being clean or new but I really like their services 😍

What a great find. Right by the beach and lots of great restaurants to eat fresh fish and delicious food.

The owner was really friendly and helped us out with any questions or advice we needed. The room was perfect - spacious and clean. Breakfast was very nice - rice soup, bananas, sweet rice packets, fried eggs, coffee, tea…. More than adequate.

We decided to stay an extra night here as it was so relaxing and peaceful. Would recommend.

Cute hotel with a lot of character run by a sweet couple. There are a lot of reviews about the hotel being run down but everything was fine but it does seem like the whole area, not the hotel itself, is somehow abandoned so keep that in mind

room was clean coffee was good highly recommend I did have a beach front room lady is very nice and the dogs are too dont understand why all the bad comments pretty sure these people only stay in 5 star hotels
