Great value for money, large room and professional service. Would recommend for a couple or a family. Onsen located right next door, great for relaxing after a long day of hiking. Room is equipped with medium -size-fridge and a microwave-oven which is perfect for a long stay. Fantastic view of mountains from the room.

Great experience at Hillside Residence. The staff are lovely and helpful. The room is fantastic, very spacious and clean. I used the onsen on my last day, and it was very relaxing. At breakfast, the kitchen prepared some vegan options, which I really appreciated. Thank you to Pikky and his team for taking care of us.

We’ve had a wonderful stay at Hillside Residence. The 1-bedroom suite is spacious and very comfortable, and is great value for money in comparison to other similar accommodation we looked at in the area. It was lovely to relax in the Varin onsen at the end of a day of sightseeing; it was very tranquil and clean. We enjoyed great breakfast at the Lacol hotel nearby, and we appreciated the efforts the staff went to in providing vegan options for us each day. A huge thank you to K. Pikky and the team for being super helpful throughout - you really made our stay feel special, and we will hopefully return soon.

Stayed during the New Year countdown. The room was good, spacious, clean, and had good facilities. Too bad I had limited time and didn't get to see everything. It's in the same group as Lacol. I went to eat there. The overall atmosphere was good and complete. It's suitable for relaxation.

Easy to travel, not hard to find, complete facilities, including fitness, bicycles, and free onsen during non-weekends.. Note it down to stay next time.

The room is spacious, complete, and very quiet because it is a bit deep inside. Breakfast is served by a golf cart at Lacol. There is a free 1-hour onsen bath. The only downside is that the air conditioning in the room is very dusty, making the room smell musty.
