The hotel is old. It’s obvious that the management has not been bothered to maintain the hotel. The bathroom is also very bad.

I want to be very clear about what happened during my stay at The Greenery Resort Khao Yai.

While taking a normal shower, the bathroom glass suddenly shattered on its own. I did not hit it, push it, or misuse anything. It broke during regular use, which strongly indicates a maintenance or safety failure, not guest damage.

This incident put me at risk of serious injury, and I hurt my hand as a result. A hotel room should be a safe environment, and something like this should never happen. Glass does not randomly explode unless there is a problem with installation, aging, or poor maintenance.

What made the situation worse was being expected to take responsibility and pay for something I clearly did not cause. That is unreasonable and unacceptable. In fact, given the injury, the hotel should be concerned about guest safety and medical responsibility, not shifting blame.

I requested that this incident be escalated to management and documented properly as an accident due to glass failure. I am willing to cooperate, but I will not accept responsibility for a safety issue that occurred under normal use.

Because of the dangerous condition, lack of accountability, and poor handling of the situation, I cannot recommend this hotel. Guest safety should always come first.

The atmosphere is nice and peaceful, but the entrance looks a bit overgrown with tall grass. The swimming pool area could use better maintenance, for example, the play equipment looks faded. I want to encourage the owner to keep up the good work! You got this! ✌️

The hotel is a bit old, but it's well-maintained and clean. The water in the bathroom wasn't hot, but the staff quickly fixed it. The air conditioning was perfectly cold. The staff provided excellent service; even though we checked in late, there was still a bellboy waiting to help with our luggage to the room, which was impressive. There was a good variety of food, and the taste was average. The hotel entrance was quite dark with no lights. However, overall, the price was affordable, and we were comfortable in two rooms without breaking the bank.

The lobby, the hallway leading to building A, and the elevator were all old and run-down, generally lacking maintenance and a fresh coat of paint to make them presentable. The hallway before entering the room had peeling paint on the door. Inside the room, the walls were stained. Looking up, the ceiling had cracks in the corners, revealing the seams of the ceiling panels. The curtains were missing 5-6 hooks, and there were no replacements. The bathroom tiles were cracked, and the shower water pressure was extremely low. The power outlets were old with silicone caulk around the covers. The shower curtain was yellow and missing its hooks. The paint on the sink was peeling, painted green like a local guesthouse. Is this really 2,300 baht a night? Once was more than enough. From now on, I'll read reviews carefully. I rushed to Khao Yai spontaneously, leaving home at 5 PM. My own mistake.

The hotel's phone number on Google Maps is for their Bangkok office, which they haven't changed. I couldn't reach anyone after 5 PM.

If I could post a video review, I'd show you how slow the water flow is. Even 2-star hotels have a 30-liter water heater under the counter.

Getting very dated now in need of alot of tlc to bring it back to how it was . Rooms are large but old ,floors and furniture are damaged showing there age , expensive really for the condition. Shame 😒 reminds me of going on my school trips lol all buildings and corridors 😆

Over all, this place is far from the word hotel. It is not impressive. The room is not in a good condition and at 5pm I had to still wait for the room for 1 hour to check in. The water pumper in the bathroom was broken. The water broke out and it flooded all over the place. The phone was not even working when tried to contact the reception. We had to walk a distance to the reception. I had to contact the app agency instead to get the contact of the hotel. The bathroom itself is a nightmare. The shower gel is a low-quality one. Do not expect anything from the breakfast. And that is all from me. Poor staff. They have to work with effort when the hotel management and facilities are the worst.

Please just close the hotel if you cannot handle it.
