The room is simple and very small.
Will come back again if I travel to BKK....
The room was fine, with a comfortable bed and good value for the price; however, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom drain.
At around 1:00 a.m., the air conditioner in my room shut down, making it impossible to stay or sleep. The staff responded promptly and offered to move me to another room, but having to change rooms when I was already falling asleep was very inconvenient.
In the new room, the bathroom exhaust fan was covered with a plastic bag and tape, which affected air circulation and caused an unpleasant smell in the room.
I informed both the hotel staff and Trip.com, and I received a very quick response from both. Despite these issues, the hotel management and staff demonstrated a strong commitment to customer service and did their best to assist and resolve the situation.
Cozy room, comfy beds, clean bedsheets and towels. Bathroom has a shower stall, toilet with bidet, and some toiletries. Good enough for a night’s stay in Bangkok.
Commute to central/ town: Kamphaeng Phet MRT Station (Blue Line), Mo Chit BTS (Green Line) are the nearest metro stations.
To and from Don Mueang Airport:

I had a very bad experience with the Front Office team at Best Western Chatuchak, showing a serious lack of responsibility and professionalism.
Summary of what happened:
• 1st time: Check-out request guests to wait for them to check 5 minutes.
I left my luggage at the hotel for around 1.5 hours.
• 2nd time: I returned to the hotel and asked the Front Office to check the room for my forgotten belongings.
No clear reply was given.
• 3rd time: After leaving for the airport for about 15 minutes, I realized something was missing and returned immediately to the reception to ask again.
They confirmed they did NOT have my belongings.
• 4th time: Only after I requested an email confirmation and re-check, the hotel suddenly confirmed that my belongings had already been FOUND —
but this happened after I had already arrived at the airport.
Most disappointing points:
• The Front Office team did not take the case seriously
• No clear explanation was provided
• No apology was given at the beginning
• Email replies only mentioned self pick-up next time or paying a 200 THB domestic delivery fee, while completely ignoring my request for an explanation.
I have attached email conversations to show an objective view.
This is a very basic service failure for a hotel. Losing track of guests’ belongings and giving inconsistent information is unacceptable.
Very poor experience.
Any important thing needs sharing twice: “Do not forget your belongings If staying here!”
