Blue Wave Beach Resort in Ban Mai

Very good location, small swimming pool surrounded by greenery, nice terrace outside room, and nice android tv in room, along with free coffee and hot chocolate. Now the bad points, pool and rooms need updating and maintenance, as quite rundown. Your room will not be made during your stay. I asked for 2 clean towels and toilet paper on the second day and the owner behaved like i asked for caviar without paying... you basically get 2 bottles of water placed on the table outside your room each day. Pool area by showers smelt of rats so beware of the cleanliness here. However the owner spent plenty of time sweeping leaves!!! Also on checkin or if you need something, you need to find him as he is rarely at reception and doesnt seem to employ anyone except some staff to help clean rooms when someone has checked out. Basically could be so good with a bit of effort. If you dont need a swimming pool stay at pineapple resort from 500Thb per night or sam roi sight sea resort, which was even cheaper than Pineapple resort and half the price of Bluesea resort. The owner was a really nice woman, and even the cheapest rooms were big clean and modern with good wifi and easy free parking, just less central. Sam roi sight sea resort also offerred free water and coffee and was a far bigger more modern room aswell.
