Hotel Zing in Pattaya

The environment is great, there are two swimming pools, and the transportation is convenient.

This is my go-to hotel. Two swimming pools buffet breakfast automatic coffee machines. I love it!

The hotel is well-maintained and excellently managed by the staff. The furniture is in good condition, the curtains and linens are clean, and the two pools are spotless – all clear signs of great management.
For a hotel of this standard, it offers the best value for money in Pattaya.
The location is directly on Thapraya Road, which provides great transport links. However, this also means 24/7 traffic noise, which can be heard inside the rooms. This is the hotel's main drawback.
Jomtien Beach is easily accessible: a public songthaew (a shared taxi truck) stops right outside the door and will take you there in about 15 minutes for just 10 baht.
The cheapest room category is quite compact, with no balcony, and might feel cramped for two people. However, the hotel offers other, more spacious room types at a higher price.
The shower is good, with no issues in water temperature. Many details in the room are well-thought-out and convenient, such as a dedicated clothes drying rack and laundry bags for your dirty clothes.
The buffet breakfast is heavily promoted by the hotel, even to non-guests. At the promotional price of 190 baht, it's a good deal. It includes hot dishes, made-to-order omelets, and a standard continental selection of cereals, toast, jams, and yogurt. Special mentions go to the waffles, made fresh right in front of you, and the steamer with dim sum.

Furniture and amenities are a bit broken/malfunctioning but satisfactory. No decoration, white walls. A bit dusty, but generally clean. Friendly staff. Normal cheap'otel.

I was satisfied with everything

Hotel is well located and rooms were clean and maintained well. Staffs were supportive and easy checkin/checkout . 500 bhat is taken as security deposit and returned without issues. Breakfast was very good with lot of options.
We Stayed for 3 days without any complaints.

Honestly, I felt like I was in a school camp instead of on vacation at ZING Hotel Pattaya!
Every single corner had stickers with rules - no smoking (got it!), no spitting (um, wasn't planning to), no swimming without proper costume (okay, got it). And then there's the "Quiet Zone" sign for 3000 baht. 😂 I mean, I get it, rules are rules, but it felt super restrictive.

And don't even get me started on the room rules! Dirty room? Fine's 300 baht. Dirty bedsheet? That's 1000 baht. Dirty curtains? 500 baht. Damage? That's a whopping 5000 baht! It felt like they expected us to trash the place or something. I came here to relax, not to be schooled on discipline. 2/5 stars because the location and pools were nice, but the vibe was just too much. The hotel's location is good bit far from the beach , and the rooms, while a bit on the small side,
There is two pools—one on the ground floor and lovely sun deck on the rooftop.
The breakfast was an average.
