Nana House Cha Am in Cha-Am

We are Youtubers, so we stay in a lot of hotels.
The lady reception wasnt the most friendly of people, but there was a young man who was very nice and polite.
The room was cleaned to a decent standard.
The bed was clean and comfortable.
The location was superb, just across from the beach, and it was quiet.
One thing that we were not at all happy about was this. We we eating our dinner in a restaurant 3 doors along from the hotel, when the waitress was standing with a man we had never seen before. The waitress was beckoning me to come over to her, so I got up from my table and went to see what she wanted. She asked if my passport was good, I didnt really know what she was going on about. But the man ( who was from our hotel ) with the waitress said my passport is empty, and the police will be called. I didnt really know what was going on. He said he wanted to see our passports, and the police will come soon. We were a bit worried as we had done nothing wrong. So the lady in reception hadnt copied the correct page of my passport, which they have do by law in Thailand. So they made a mistake and questioned me in a restaurant in from of all the other customers, and mentioned the police twice.
I dont know why they didnt wait for up to return to the hotel, before bring up this issue, as we had been there for 3 days.
We we not very happy about this, as you can imagine.

Price is reasonable, rooms are decent, cleanliness is average and customer service is almost non-existent. Very few staff, there is no one at the reception at first so we have to wait for almost an hour. also, Don't be surprised if you'll be taken to another hotel inside the street. Parking is not convenient and safe as it's not owned by the hotel itself. But if you're only looking for an affordable place to sleep this is decent enough.
