I had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Regency Hua Hin. The resort is peaceful and beautifully surrounded by lush greenery, creating a very relaxing atmosphere.

What I loved the most was the large swimming pool, which is spacious, shaded, and perfect for unwinding.

The hotel is located right by the beach, with clear water and easy access to the sea, making it ideal for swimming or enjoying a seaside walk.

Another highlight was the breakfast, which offered a wide variety of choices. The food was fresh and delicious.

We have just had a singular problem with that hotel. Residents in Bangkok, we have changed our plan after receiving confirmation that we can stay in this hotel with our little dog, a female Maltese Bichon, for an additional cost of ฿8,550 for 3 nights. The first thing we did at check-in was try to understand the rules of their so-called Pet-Friendly programme. Much to our dismay, we have quickly realised that the scheme was a lure, neither friendly for the pet nor for the owner. We were confined to a remote part of the premises, with only one path allowed to access a single beach point. All facilities were barred to us, except for a canopy behind the main restaurant. ( In all fairness a dedicated waiter was provided to us ). Practically, my wife and I could go anywhere together, except leave the dog in the room, which was not a good idea and even less advised by management who warns us to be ready anytime to get back if the dog was heard barking.
Our stay in this resort was totally spoiled. We can understand that Hyatt wants to protect the integrity of their guests' environment, but in this case, they must ban pets residency completely instead of offering a service that lures clients. This practice is unfair. It was not a one-night stopover!.
However, we cannot comment in too much detail on the comfort of the hotel. The lighting system in the rooms is a headache, and the standing of deluxe could be higher in this competitive environment.
To end on a more positive note, the breakfast buffet is of a reasonable level. It would have been even better if we could have enjoyed it together with family and friends.

Big resort style hotel with beautiful gardens and massive pool. We’re in our early 50s with adult children and we don’t play golf so I’m not sure if we are their target demographic- but it looked like families with little kids were having an absolutely fun time in the huge pool and water slide.
I wouldn’t call it exactly relaxing lounging around the main pool (no one was particularly rowdy, just lots of families having fun which is great- it was happy noise!) but there is another “tranquil” pool that appeared to have mainly older adults lounging and swimming.
The breakfast buffet is extensive and the service is top notch, very discreet and ultra polite and accommodating.
All the staff are just beautiful and anticipate your every need- 5 stars to the pool staff who really know how to make a sun bed comfortable!
We were “upgraded” to a larger room however it didn’t have a balcony and felt very closed in. We asked to be moved to a room with a balcony as that is what we had originally booked. The reception staff were a bit confused why we didn’t want the bigger room but very quickly found us a room with a balcony and moved our bags before we could blink.
The beds are comfortable but if you are fussy about your pillow please use their “pillow menu” as the ones on the beds are very feathery soft that quickly deflate and it was like sleeping with your head on a rock. Also the air con automatically turns off as soon as you crack that balcony door, and the rooms would’ve very damp without the separate humidifier pumping all day. We made the mistake of turning it off one night because it was pretty noisy but woke up with the bed linen damp and the floors wet.
Lots of little restaurants within walking distance and both Cicada and Tamarind markets are 3 minutes walk away.
We did enjoy our stay, everything was nice. For us it just lacked a bit of privacy and personality that you find at much smaller resorts or villas.

This was just a short stay, but a very nice one. Staff is very friendly and attentive throughout. Room was great and clean. Food including breakfast was excellent. The gym was surprisingly good for a hotel.
You should be aware that this is a family friendly resort and you may hear children from time to time. If that doesn’t bother you, this is a safe bet.

A truly amazing stay, which was flawless in every respect. It gives me great pleasure to say that. The food at Figs at both breakfast and lunch was phenomenally good. The grounds are mature and immaculate. The service is friendly and efficient and the rates off-season are extremely attractive. After staying at several other five star properties, I would say for the reasons set out above and the size of the beachfront, Hyatt is undoubtedly the best hotel in Hua Hin. The only downside is that I am not the only person to think so. Occupancy rates are high, especially at the weekend, so breakfast can feel a little crowded. That's really the only drawback. A special mention of Best, my employee of the year in any hospitality role. Just amazing.

We had an unforgettable stay at the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin! Our king-sized room had direct access to a pool designed like a winding river — you could step in right from your room and swim all the way to the bar or beach. Such a unique and relaxing setup! The pool slide was also a fun touch we really enjoyed.

Figs, the main restaurant, was fantastic both for breakfast and dinner. In the morning, they serve a wide variety of flavorful dishes — from freshly baked pastries to Western, Indian, and Asian specialties. Everyone will find something to love. At night, Figs transforms into a cozy dinner spot with delicious evening meals and great service. Big thank you to Best, the restaurant manager, who made us feel truly welcomed.

We also treated ourselves to High Tea at the Fountain Bar, which was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious — highly recommended!
The resort offers a free golf cart shuttle to the nearby market, which was super convenient and added a fun touch to getting around.

A huge thank you to all the staff — from the front desk to housekeeping, entertainers, bar and restaurant teams — you all made our stay exceptional. We can't wait to return!

When we arrived, the welcome was moderate. I arrived by car the only one at the entrance at the time, and it wasn’t during busy hours yet I had to actively approach the butler for check-in. Something I didn’t quite expect at a hotel of this class... At the reception, the check-in was flawless, and we were introduced well. Since my birthday was coming up, I asked about special occasions, but the options were quite limited. We were then guided to our room, which was fine, and I got the view I had requested. The location is superb, and the resort has a fantastic pool lagoon with lots of big trees and shade to cool off from the sun. Our little one loved the kids' corner and the beach pool entrance, right on the beach side. May/June is a great time to be on Hua Hin beach, especially for early morning walks. Another sweet surprise came unexpectedly on my birthday — thank you again for this little detail! To sum up, our stay was great. We felt comfortable with time during our stay of almost a week. Although we do prefer the warm hospitality and guest service at another five-star place in Hua Hin, we’ll definitely visit again.

Me, my wife and our 2 kids (7 and 5) stayed here for 9 nights from England and it was perfect. The rooms, facilities, food and staff were brilliant. We had such a great time. The pools and slide kept the kids entertained for days and they loved the kids club and staff. Fish feeding, releasing crabs into the sea, and all the arts and crafts were perfect.

I have visited this hotel on so many occasions and can't wait to go back again soon. I had previously stayed at other hotels in Hua Hin but I find the Hyatt Regency a level above anywhere else.

Everything is excellent. The location is right next to the ocean and has a few swimming pools on the property too. The breakfast has a huge selection and the food is always good.

My favourite thing about the hotel that makes it so good is the service. The whole team are amazing (especially Emmy). They are always ready to help and always have a smile and welcoming.

Big thanks to everyone at the hotel. I really love what you do!

This is an absolutely amazing place to relax! The breakfast is varied and delicious, and the staff is always cheerful, greeting you and offering assistance at all times. If you have a dog with you, this hotel is perfect in every way. The spacious grounds allow dogs to run freely, and they provide a special tea and snack set for dogs, as well as dog spa services. There are also pathways for walking dogs, and you can find waste bags along the routes. I love this place!
