The room was quite spacious, actually two rooms combined with a connecting hallway. The decor was also very modern. There was a good variety for breakfast and it tasted great. Plus, it's super close to the water park, and staying at the hotel gets you free admission tickets to the park.

We upgraded our room to a sea view, and the breakfast was also excellent and plentiful. The rooftop pool was amazing and not crowded. The amusement park downstairs was very convenient, and ordering takeout via Grab was a breeze. You can also get to the beach by walking through the train station.

The Standard Hua Hin lived up to my expectations, even though I booked three months in advance. There weren't many Chinese or local guests; most were Westerners. Breakfast was good, with variety every day, and even better on weekends.

The hotel is beautiful and very clean throughout. The absolute highlight was the outstanding breakfast—there was truly something for everyone! The most gorgeous hotel we have ever stayed. It was quiet and intimate. Carved into a jungle with the natural vegetation left in tact. Even a lagoon in the middle of the resort with wildlife. Staying here is a new family tradition. We loved our experience!

We had a really lovely time at the Mövenpick Resort. It was a bit out of town, and there isn’t anything in walking distance. We took a lot of tuck tucks to town. It is truly lovely hotel. Great pools, great breakfast, great big rooms. We had a wonderful stay.

Room was really spacious! Family loved it and the vibes were amazing, felt like you’re in a tropical island. Only downside is that there are no real beaches that is accessible from the hotel, but just know this before you visit! Ibis is far from any shops or restaurants but the beach nearby is better than the beach in town which you can't really swim in because of all the rocks. It's a winner if you are coming for a swim at the beach although tbh the beaches in Hua Hin aren't great. Better than Pattaya. lol. As for the rooms they are good. Rules a bit strict regarding the balcony considering the current laws in Thailand.

A wonderful place, right at the beach, only not no sandy beach, the sea comes strait up to a wall. There are stairs to go into the sea, but better only when it is calm weather, otherwise difficult to get into and out of the sea. The hotel has a great location with direct beach access, and that's really the best thing you can say about it. Otherwise, it's true that it's dated and in need of renovation. Unexpectedly all facilities was all really outdated. We don’t mine to stay in heritage facilities but even with the best maintenance one day it is over. The best thing about this hotel is the location and then the pool. It is within easy walking distance to everything. I had problems with my door not locking. And problems with the powerbox and key card. And problems with the aircon. Front desk is not as hospitable as I have experienced in Thailand. And there are no kettles in the room.

We had a great two-night stay here! As other reviews state, the beds are a bit hard but not by Thai/Asian standards (pretty normal in Thailand!). The room was clean and comfortable.
