Over the last 20 years I have stayed in several hotels in Rayong. I learned 5 years ago there is only one outstanding place to stay in Rayong. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are SOFT! Very hard to find in Thailand. Their included, multi course breakfast buffet, is fantastic. This time I stayed 8 days.

Really enjoyed my stay, the staff were exceptional and very attentive to small details. Plenty of parking and the Fitness and pool were really good compared to most hotels of equal standing.
The room was large and very clean and had a microwave, chinaware and 4 complementary bottles of water. Small things make a difference and the room ticked all of my boxes.
Breakfast was a large continental spread and tailored for all tastes. My only issue was the chicken and pork dishes were not to my liking, not good cuts and I don't eat skin.
Most hotels including this one, have adopted coffee machines and without exception the standard is not good.
Finally the access from the main roads to this hotel is pretty poor from Google maps and I was directed through Lotus s car park to name one.
Overall I had a great stay and we are planning to return in the future

Overall, I enjoyed my stay. Although the hotel is somewhat dated and shows signs of wear, it is conveniently located for my itinerary. One aspect I found inconvenient was the outdated room key system, using a large plastic block with a traditional key felt cumbersome, and a more modern solution would greatly enhance the guest experience. At least the air conditioning was very good. On a positive note, the gym and swimming pool were excellent and very well maintained, which I greatly appreciated.

The star convention hotel is a wonderful place to visit one of the best budget hotels I have stayed in. The hotels gymm star fitness is fabulous they have steam room sauna (ask reception to turn on 20 minutes before use) and a generious sized swimming pool. The gym itself if big and hosts various free style and fixed weight activities. The room size is generious. Bath room has seperate bath and shower areas.

Value for money. Next to bus station, convenient to ride to Bangkok.

Take off all the old and stinky carpets all over the hotel, and replace them with tiles or parquet.
Will help upgrade the hotel from 3-4 stars to 5 stars.

Highly recommend this hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff at reception, and elsewhere in the hotel. Very well equipped gym. Excellent breakfast buffet. And they have a pool.

Perfect from early check in, to check out.
Breakfast had a huge variety.
Pool and sauna excellent. Didnt try steam room as it was September and already humid.
When we arrived we had just did an overnight bus from north east and were exhausted.
The receptlrt us store our bags and allowed us to relax in lobby until check in time.
