Bayview Resort Rayong in Ban Chak Phai

I really enjoyed my time at BayView Resort. The staff were friendly, the rooms I booked (bungalow AC and Queen Suite) were large, tidy and had all the things you need. Plus the view was fantastic in both rooms, but particularly in the queen suite. The resort is also located in a quiet location away from the fancy resort crowd so you get a different type of traveller. They also care about the environment and really try to protect and look after the natural flora and fauna. It's within walking distance from town (safe for female solo traveller even at night), but is far enough away to avoid the busyness of walking street and the more popular beaches. Oh and the snorkelling Infront of the resort is really good, in fact better than a recent trip to Koh Haa on a snorkelling tour and you can go about it at your own leisure.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Right on the beach but need to cross the main road.
Even though it is on the road, it is very quiet in the night. Easy to sleep. The garden is beautiful and well maintained.

Rooms are a bit small, price a bit high than nearby hotels. There is not enough space inside the room esp for families.

Nice little resort literally across the road from the beach.
The room we took was 1700b a night which was OK for the quality of room we had.
No room service which is unusual and not great.
A small fridge included in the room plus a kettle and small TV if required, we never watch TV so unsure how good it is. Bathroom had a warm western styled shower but outlr room alhad a whining water system as in the video. Not great to hear it whining but we didn't spend much time in the room so just put up with it.
No to far from seafood restaurants, bars and 7/11.
Reception was quick and friendly, 500b deposit required when checking in. Was quite strict with the 2pm check in time.
Plenty of car parking out the front or around the side.
Unsure of any other amenities as we only used this as a sleeping base.
Nice resort but there looked like better places around so do your research to see what's available.

I really liked staying here. I'd recommend to anyone. People were cool, it's right by a very nice beach to swim or just chill. Im sure I will be back some time again. One thing that can be improved would be the bathrooms could be cleaned more thoroughly imo.

We had a great stay at the Bayview. Bungalows are modern and very clean. We booked a family room as no twin rooms available. Large double bed and large single bed. The room was slightly cramped due to the addition of the single bed. However the doubles were fine. Beautiful gardens. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Provided us with a kettle.
Prianoor gave a complimentary lunch of delicious pad thai one day.
If you're looking for nightlife, this place is not for you. Super chilled and relaxing. There are a couple of fantastic restaurants five minutes walk away serving Thai and western food and a bar. There are also lots of seafood restaurants within easy walking distance.
The only downside was the beach, lots of litter.

Very beautiful and well-kept territory. Inside it is also cozy and clean. There is everything you need. Friendly staff. In the morning they fed us with chic sandwiches, tea, coffee available. The sea is right across the road. Clean, beautiful, with a bunch of swings. For a couple of days, an ideal place. We will come back again.

The bungalows are situated apart enough for privacy and are mostly all angled with at least a bit of sea view. The gardens are well cared for with ample plants, trees, and nice lush grass. Each bungalow has a patio and its own outdoor seating area. Very quiet at night with fairy lights lighting up the garden.

The room is clean, surrounded by a flower garden and beautiful trees. Wake up in the morning and breathe in the fresh air. The atmosphere is very good. Just across the road is a beautiful sea with clear water. Clean sandy beach The location is easy to find, next to the main road, Mae Ramphueng Beach. and will go back to stay again.

What you see is what you get..i did enjoy this place and its close to the relax and nice beach for good and chill out days.
