Hotels with beach in Patara

No one is collecting the butts - it’s a blight on a protected area, and what was once a stunning pristine beach. There are plenty of bins, but people don’t seem to get that they aren’t biodegradable

We were two couples relaxing at the end of a busy 18 day trip around Turkey spending our final days in Gelemis, near Patara beach

He gave us tips on walks and places to visit like the local fruit and vegetable market where we bought kilos of olives and tahini to take home! Dardanos was comfortable with large bedrooms and a wonderful pool in the pretty garden which we appreciated after walking every day down to the beach visiting the ruins, and a day trip to Kas which we loved

I hadn’t been here since the late 80s so was nervous it might have changed beyond recognition. It is still quiet, welcoming, friendly and very charming

The only thing that disappointed us was that Patara beach is where the sun loungers are is now covered in cigarette butts, something we found everywhere in Turkey

Never did I think I’d be so glad not to see sand. The water is crystal clear and the sunbeds are well spaced and there is never any hassle picking one. The pools are quiet, practically empty at most times

Empties etc and mucky tables left unattended for long periods of time. No drinks service at your table around bar / pool / beach area which is unusual for this part of the world

Management really need to think about elevating the guest experience - it would also surely make business sense to offer a proper drinks service and keep the staff off their phones, looking after guests and keeping areas clean and tidy

NEGATIVES - Found the sun beds hard and uncomfortable. Would advise bringing a portable cushion. Nearly all staff on their phones all the time at any opportunity. Surprised this hasn’t been mentioned in previous reviews

The staff although inoffensive would sit for hours on end on their phones especially around the bar area when sometimes it was hard to get their attention to order drinks despite the area being practically deserted

Staff members playing videos on their phones and FaceTiming for hours on end without earphones. When this happened on a third consecutive day around the bar area we did complain and it did stop while we were there

Great place, the access to the private beach is exquisite. Breakfast is also delicious, and the staff nice and helpful !

Could not fault this hotel, the staff are fantastic and can not do enough for you. Would 100% recommend it.

Spent 4 nights at Soothe Kalkan. Can’t say enough about the service and helpful staff. From restaurant to historical site recommendations staff was awesome. Our room was spacious and had a wonderful view of the bay below

only 200m away from the sea, really good view loved their cafe, bar, and restaurant. The pool was interesting considering it was filled with sea water, really bothered us because it stung our eyes and other stuff

Run by a family that are truly welcoming and made our stay in Kalkan memorable. Exceptional value for money, rooms spacious and spotlessly clean. Fresh towels and bedding almost every day. Relaxing and pretty pool area

Location is quite far from the city center so you must get a cab or travel with your own car to go to public beach / city center. Breakfast was nice however breakfast time was too late for us, starting around 8:30am

We got a 75m2 room and the view is amazing. People working are very friendly and it is like you are part of the family. Street is cousy and there are markets and restaurants in front of the hotel

The pool is a plus, and the owner is also a very kind person: he found a way to help me with a flat tyre, calling the renting company and finding a place that fixed it

Lovely place to stay the room was clean and had everything we needed, pool area was nice and clean also. Very friendly guy who runs the place would happily stay again

I feel so lucky to come accross this hotel while researching hotels in Kalkan, First of all I remember booking the wrong dates and calling the hotel telling them about it, the advised me to communicate with the booking website and try yo change, if I couldn't I can come at the time of my vacation and they would help us even if the reservation dates are wrong

Secondly, we arrived to an amazing clean hotel with a pool and view of the sea. It is hight a bit so we kinda had to take some stairs before reaching the hotel

We have just had a 10 night stay in the Oase Apartments (apartment 3), the whole place is immaculate and kept so clean, the apartment has 2 balconys, a well equipped kitchen with washing machine, large bedroom and lounge area with lots of storage space, the pool area is lovely and so peaceful with plenty of sunbeds with umbrellas, there is also a roof terrace, the location is great, a short walk into...

There are no cars no motorcycles and the place is just what you need as an escape from crazy Istanbul. I wish I could stay here more. The owners are an amzing family apparently so it is a well maintained family business

Our room was superb, spacius and clean, it had an AC and a tv but no fridge, only rooms with sea view have fridges. It is so calm and relaxing the first day we slept from 7 p. m till the next day in the morning

This means you're not in all the hustle and bustle so get a great night's sleep. The pool is great, the breakfast amazing, the bed fabulous and the owners are fantastic hosts

Sandy beaches are 10-20 minutes drive away. There is a lot of walking up and down the pretty terraces involved in staying here - though the hotel does provide a golf cart taxi for those who want a bit of help!

We’ve just returned from 10 lovely days at Hotel Villa Mahal in Kalkan. After visiting Kalkan 6 years ago and spending a day at Mahal beach club, myself, my mum & sister couldn’t wait to stay at Mahal this time around

It was great to have a private area for hotel guest sunbeds at the beach club, as it meant there were always beds available. We also loved taking the free water taxi over to Kalkan in the evenings

The breakfast/lunch hotel staff absolutely made our stay and deserve a huge shout out, particularly Burhan and Hasan who were so friendly and attentive every single time we saw them, memorizing our orders and helping us with whatever we needed

We had 3 heavy cases and he carried them down to our room on arrival and up when we left with ease! We were so grateful for the help and he was absolutely lovely, always saying hello throughout our stay when we saw him

Wonderful hotel! Everyone is very responsive and helpful, especially Nesli! The sea is crystal clear, sun loungers are everywhere, towels are provided, delicious breakfasts! The rooms in the main building are cozy, we stayed in 813 and 825 with a sea view - the view is gorgeous

Amazing atmosphere, nice breakfast, very helpful staff. The rooms are very well kept and cleaned every day. The price was a little high, but it was overall a great experience and left a wonderful impression on me.

The resort is beautiful, feels like paradise really. It is situated on a hill, so unless you use a shuttle bus provided by the hotel, you go up and down stairs. The sea is great, clear and warm

The resort is huge! We stayed in the main building, which is close to the reception and restaurants. The scenery was absolutely stunning, breathtakingly beautiful, every view was photogenic

My only regret is that we only planned to spend one night here it would've been great to spend the whole week here!

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and even offer drives to the beach area and to the bus stop on the highway. Unfortunately the staff did not know the bus time schedule so I had to wait an hour in the heat

This is the most beautifulest place in patara I have stayed at, stayed here 5 years and couldnt wait to come back, its very cute and cozy, very very reasonable prices to stay, the ad in extras you get for no charge is amazing, their English is brilliant, very polite, friendly and full of smiles, room are cute to die for, couldn't ask for a better stay peacefully and beautiful scenery, I would recommend...

Comfortable Stay We stayed in a very specious, nicely upgraded room which comes with a balcony. It is very close to Patara Ancient City ruins and the beach

Breakfast is delicious and filling. There's a parking lot for four cars, or you can pull off the road. Family-run business with kind people.

They have helped with all sorts of things from taking me to the hospital to arranging cheap transportation & booking boat trips to organising a diving session in Kalkan. You basically deal with helpful friends here

The location is excellent for people who like rural areas: there are a few great restaurants in the village, a long, clean, sandy beach is easily accessible by taxi or you can get there walking among ancient Roman ruins

This hotel has a nice view as shown in the photo. There is no beach in front of the hotel, but if you have a car, it is a good location to get around

I really enjoyed stayed here Positive: - The owner and the stuff are very friendly. - Rooms are in acceptable condition (not too fancy but very clean). - Very good breakfast, especially the fresh omelettes you can order

- 3 minutes driving away from Patara Beach. - Walking distance to nearby village shops and restaurants. Negatives: - The mini-fridge in the rooms are a bit old

I have stayed here several times and each time was wonderful. This family-run hotel is very clean, serves delicious breakfast, has a lovely pool area with a pool bar, yet what makes your stay very pleasant is the staff

Budget and cozy place. Clean rooms, friendly stuff and great location. Sweeming pool with the nature wiev make your stay even better. Walking distance to Patara Ancient City and to beach.

very clean, friendly and professional management, calm and close to coffee shops and restaurants. the pool was my favorite spot. setting under a tree or umbrella and chasing the sun or the shade

Beautiful spot with a great balcony. The room didnt come with water and when I didn't order any at lunch the older man asked why and I said I would go to the shop later. This caused his mood to instantly drop

The owner offers an inexpensive washing service, and we could dry our things on the terrace. Overall, we enjoyed a peaceful and friendly atmosphere here, especially with the attention from the gracious owner

Fantastic pool , large room equipped with a fridge in pretty gardens on a hill. Great views down to the sea and walkable into the village. Attentive and thoughtful manager and staff.

You can ask for drinks or snacks while swimming in the pool, prices are reasonable. It is very close to ancient settlements such as Patara, Xantos, Leton and Pinara, and the beaches of Patara, Kaputas and Akçagerme

Very quiet but within easy reach of the town and beach. The walk from the village was easy and the village had lovely local restaurants. It was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet , great pool & breakfast
