The best hotel in patara. Peaceful and relaxing but lots to do if you want more energetic activities. The hotel family are very helpful and always around for patrons needs.

We like our stay in this property. The place is beautiful, cozy, quiet and very clean. The pool was super cool and we enjoyed it. However, it would have been better if the staff spoke a little bit more of English to facilitate communication. We only had 1 towel for 3 people in the room, we asked for more towels and bever got them. The fridge was also broken, we asked to fix it but no-one didn't come...

A lovely, relaxing stay A really beautiful pool and bar area, no noisy music around the pool so really relaxing during the day. The rooms are simply furnished but comfortable. Nearby Patara beach can be reached in 30 minutes but the tourist tax - €15 - to get in is very high. Overall I really enjoyed my stay here and hope to return.

Once again we had a fabulous stay at the Golden Lighthouse. It was great to see Nadi and his ‘right-hand-man’ Mehmet again who go out of their way to make your holiday a pleasurable one. Beautiful family owned place with superb view on the village that stretches all the way to the beach. A garden looking hotel with greenery all over. A feast to the eye! The breakfast was rich and the owner was friendly. However, there was no cleaning and no toiletries after staying for two days.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and even offer drives to the beach area and to the bus stop on the highway. Unfortunately the staff did not know the bus time schedule so I had to wait an hour in the heat ...but he took a photo of the schedule so hopefully that will solve that problem ever happening again. We planned to stay overnight because we wanted to visit Patara Beach. It was surprisingly perfect! The hotel was easy to find at the top of the hill in town, super clean, and the breakfast was delicious! The beach wasn't as nice as we expected, and the entrance fee was a steal, 15 euros, the same as the Ancient Theatre of Aspendos, but much more expensive in lira. Locals don't even need to buy tickets...

We were two couples relaxing at the end of a busy 18 day trip around Turkey spending our final days in Gelemis, near Patara beach. I hadn’t been here since the late 80s so was nervous it might have changed beyond recognition. It is still quiet, welcoming, friendly and very charming. One night stay as part of lycian way walk. We arrived too late to use pool unfortunatly and facilities around it, but they looked lovely. Our room was lovely, large, clean and lovely bathroom. Bar area was very cosy. Breakfast the next morning was very enjoyable. Would love to go back another time and stay for longer.

Comfortable Stay We stayed in a very specious, nicely upgraded room which comes with a balcony. It is very close to Patara Ancient City ruins and the beach. Certainly needs to be seen. The rooms are clean, the area is quiet, we liked it very much. The hotel is close to souvenir shops and many restaurants. They are so helpful and kind, we were late for breakfast and they still prepared it for us.

This is a wonderful hotel. We wanted to visit the Patara Beach and ruins and it's very close by driving (or even by walking). The staff is excellent and very helpful. This is a small family run hotel, and the owners couldn't be more helpful. They were genuinely welcoming, and happy to answer any questions. We were offered transport to the beach if we wanted, and felt very much at home in the comfortable surroundings. The evening meals offered were exceptional, and very good value.

We stayed for 5 nights as a couple. The staff at the hotel do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and happy. It has a great breakfast. There are separate sections for children and adults in the pool. You can ask for drinks or snacks while swimming in the pool, prices are reasonable. The room is generally clean. The main problem is that the shower room is too small and the shower is not working well.

The guesthouse is located right in the center of Patara. Decent rooms, acceptable cleanliness (we stayed three nights, but they never made the beds or cleaned the bathrooms). Breakfast is a plate with a slice of apple, a slice of pear, vegetables, an egg, and two pieces of cheese. Only the owner speaks English; when he's not around, we use Google Translate.

The room was adequate as this was a pension there wasn’t any pool or garden area. The outside terrace is nice. The only detriment was that on our morning of departure there was no hot water

Quite, idyllic, family-owned and operated, vegetable and fruit gardens, vines full of grapes, if you are lucky, you may even get home-cooked meals from their own kitchen at dinner time... Authentic setting... Extremely charming and accomodating people, old school local customer service... You don't want to stay anywhere else in Patara :)

Our Turkey trip on our way we would like to see Patara and stay there over the night. We found this lovely hotel who manages and owner (mum and daughter) room was very clean and cozy, they were very friendly. We had time talk in breakfast. Hope visit there some day again. We enjoyed our home stay type booking. The family cooked us a nice dinner and decent breakfast. They were very friend folks. Our disappointment was with Patara beach, our reason for visiting the village. They wanted $60 CDN to go to the beach which includes the ruins too but this isn’t what we had bargained for so we gave it a miss.
