Kalina Hotel in Datca

The hotel and the rooms were nice. The grounds were also beautiful and well-maintained. The rooms definitely need some repairs.
The staff was super helpful and very friendly. However, they could definitely learn a bit about the area, as they didn't always provide helpful answers to questions.
Breakfast was included, but since we were there at the end of the season, there was only a sparse buffet.
The food on the menu was always delicious, especially the fish dishes. The beach is easy to reach and clean.

We spent 5 nights and 6 days at the hotel. The price-performance ratio was adequate. The rooms and outdoor area were clean. We had dinner twice, and we liked it. You can choose your preferred option. The beach is within walking distance (sandy and shallow, suitable for children). The manager and staff were friendly, and we left very satisfied.

There's no shortage of transportation or parking. It's a two-story villa. The family room is a 1+1. Each room has a large refrigerator, TV, internet, air conditioning, and an electric stove (cooking is not allowed). You can buy your own drinks from the supermarket and stock them in the fridge, especially water. The rooms are clean. Cleaning is available upon request. The breakfast is adequate. Everything from fruit to pastries is available. There's a menu for lunch and dinner. You can see the pictures. I think the lunch menu could be more extensive. I thought the pool was small, but it's almost always empty. Everyone goes to the beach. I thought there wouldn't be enough sunbeds, but not even half of them are full. You can get to the beach either by car (1 minute) or on foot (5 minutes). The municipality has social facilities, parking, and food services. Other hotels have sunbeds by the sea. You can bring a camping chair. The staff are very respectful and do their job well. I thank them all. Some people have mentioned it as a family-run business, but it's not. For the price, it's definitely worth considering. I highly recommend it.
Finally, there are places to eat outside. In the evenings, alternative options can be explored: other hotel restaurants and roadside locations.

I don't know where to begin. It feels like it's going to be a bit long. We couldn't take our eyes off nature during the 4.5-hour drive from Izmir to Karaincir, surrounded by magnificent green forests and the sea on both sides. The hotel is situated in a beautiful bay, with the air so fragrant. The view is simply sea and mountains. At night, you can sit on your balcony for hours, enjoying the view of hundreds of stars. It's only 15 minutes from the city center. You'll be glad you don't see that many stars there. The coolness is amazing. We got cold at night and put on a blanket. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The whole place smelled wonderfully clean. Everything, from the wardrobe with hanging clothes to the iron hooks on the balcony for hanging wet towels, etc., has been carefully thought out. The front and back balconies are designed for direct breezes. There was a gentle breeze. The kitchen has a kettle and sink, and a large refrigerator. We felt right at home. Words can't describe the garden. The variety of plants was so abundant. The landscaping was incredible. The daughter of the hotel's original owner, Bilgin Bey, is a landscape architect, and she's very attentive. The breakfast is very adequate. There's even filter coffee and cold water with mint and lemon. The staff are very attentive and cheerful. They're all university students. They're very polite. I witnessed the cleanliness of the rooms firsthand. They clean every nook and cranny as if they were cleaning their own homes. The rooms are very spacious. Dinner prices are almost the same as in Datça city center, or even more affordable. The food is excellent. They have two different menus: daytime and evening. The hotel is a two-minute walk from the sea, and the parking lot is ample. Although the businesses on the beach take up a lot of space, everyone was setting up their umbrellas and chairs in front of them. We did too. Two sunbeds and one umbrella cost 1000 lira at the business. But you can easily bring your own umbrella, tent, chair, and table. The sandy beach and sea are crystal clear. The color of the sea, especially when you're out, will enchant you. It's also very good for children. Datça is also very beautiful. We loved the beach, the restaurants, and the atmosphere. The taste remains on our palate. The almond cookies are wonderful. Old Datça is like Alaçatı and Sığacık. Old Greek houses. And plenty of restaurants. We also saw Can Yücel's house. But the door was closed because someone else lived there. Photographs and poems were pasted in memory of him. Datça was a place we'd never seen before. It's worth returning and discovering new things. Karaincir Bay is just one of Datça's bays. There are many beautiful bays scattered throughout. Karaincir Bay also has markets like Migros and A101. We were comfortable there. I extend my heartfelt thanks to Arzu Hanım and the manager, Kadri Bey. Everything was incredibly thoughtful. Arzu Hanım's pleasant conversation, friendliness, and modesty were also invaluable. We had a wonderful three days. We will definitely go back. The perfect hotel for families with children and those seeking a quiet, peaceful holiday.
The rooms are just as pictured; they are spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable, and the air conditioning is new.
The pool is a decent size for the number of rooms.
Breakfast is adequate, the restaurant is clean, and the food is delicious.
The hotel owners, Kadri Bey, Arzu Hanım, and the other staff are friendly and attentive.
The beach is 500 meters away, and the sea is clean.
What more could you ask for?

The hotel has a peaceful concept and team just like in the images. It is like a corner of heaven with its landscape and green areas. If there were any problems with what I have written so far, it could have been tolerated, but my biggest concern was the cleanliness. But thanks to Fatma Hanım, our room, bed linens and towels were cleaned in great detail and were snow white. Arzu Hanım and Kadri Bey asked us every day if we wanted or needed anything, even though they were not obliged to do so. The restaurant was very successful, grilled plates served with potatoes and rice, presented in a way that appealed to the eye and consisted of reasonable prices. The people working in the restaurant were gentlemen who reacted quickly to the requests of all the guests staying. So there is no need for you to go looking for food outside. You can choose Kalina Hotel with peace of mind and have a peaceful holiday.

It is a very beautiful hotel with its stone architecture and landscaped garden. It consists of standard rooms and family suites. In addition to the standard room, the family suite also has a kitchen area and a balcony. Standard rooms are also quite large and sufficient. Breakfast was open buffet and hot products were delicious. Breakfast is served in the restaurant section by the pool. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Karaincir beach. The employees and the manager were very caring and helpful. Even though we took a standard room, they gave us the vacant suite. It was a hotel with quality far above its price. I think it will also be suitable for use as a honeymoon hotel. It is a quiet, calm and peaceful area around. There is a Migros Jet nearby, but it is a poor area in terms of cafes and restaurants. You can also spend time at Karaincir beach in the evenings. We went to Datça for sightseeing and eating and drinking in the evening, it takes 15 minutes by car.

We had a 3 night and 4 day holiday. It met our expectations and we were welcomed very warmly. The breakfast was sufficient and nice. You can find whatever you expect from a boutique hotel. Those who have doubts can choose it without thinking. You can take this into consideration that it is only about 25 minutes away from Datça.🦋

Rooms 1+1 are large, spacious and clean. The interior is very stylishly furnished and you feel good. Balconies overlook the pool. Ground floors have another balcony facing the back. The pool is not very big but it is sufficient. There is also a children's pool.
There are also standard rooms. They are also clean, spacious and stylish.

The breakfast is very good and delicious. You can have lunch and dinner at the restaurant with peace of mind. It was both delicious and very reasonably priced. I think there is no need to look for adventure outside.

The location of the hotel is also very nice. You can go to Karaincir beach by walking for 5 minutes. Take your towel and chair and go to the beach. Believe me, it takes longer for some big hotels to get to their own beach.

The beach was sandy and the sea was glassy when we went.

We planned to stay for 2 nights in August 2024. The kids loved it so much that we extended it for 1 more night. We came with two children aged 4 and 6, they loved the rooms and the pool.

Ms. Arzu took care while making the reservation. It makes you feel what a decent place you will go to when you call and talk. They showed the same interest there too. We would like to thank him and Kadri Bey, who runs the hotel, again. We would also like to thank Gökhan from the restaurant. It can handle everything.

We had no problems. It is a place that we will recommend to our close circle and will definitely want to come back again.

A wonderful small hotel with amazing landscaping, friendly management, service with a smile. very lovely breakfast buffet. I felt right at home. Excellent wifi. I was glad that it was away from the busy beach but close enough to walk to. I would not consider any other place to stay next time I go to Karaincir, Datca. Special thanks to Didem Hn.
