Regia Mare Beach Hotel Bodrum in Mugla

Beautiful location by the beach. Excellent service, a friendly employee even carried my suitcase up to my room which I didn’t expect at the price. The room was freshly renovated and with all the amenities required for a short stay. I left fully satisfied!

We are very pleased with the accommodation’s location as we needed to be in a quiet and accessible place. The staff are very helpful and kind. The food is delicious. The breakfast is the best we have ever had in a hotel across quite a few European destinations we had been in recent years. Thank you.

Great place to spend a week of holidays. Safe and quiet off peak, perfect for a peaceful time.

Enjoyed our 4-day stay here. Here’s what we liked:
-comfortable, well-decorated rooms.
-friendly and helpful staff.
-the spa experience was great.
-the ability to charge things directly to the room.
-close proximity to the beach.

Here’s what I didn’t enjoy:
-the food. It’s flavourless and WAY overpriced ($10 USD for lemonade!) Save yourself the $$ and find somewhere else to eat. There are plenty of more tasty and affordable options along the beach or in town if you have a car (like SAL - highly recommend). This is also evident because there’s practically no one at the restaurant for dinner (even during high season).
-crowding during the day time. I understand that RM is the only hotel along this stretch of beach to not charge admission to sit on the beach or swim in the pool. What this means is the beach and pool are full of outside guests during the day. Some even bring their own food and drink and stay the whole day! There is no room for paying guests to enjoy the beach they paid a premium for. There are also kids (not ones staying there) playing football on the lawn - we saw one old lady get hit by the ball twice and another couple getting their drinks spilled because of the kids playing football on the lawn. After the first day we never hung out at the hotel during the day because it was so crowded and noisy; we decided to pay to use another beach instead even though it was our hotel beach.

Overall it was a nice stay but next time we’ll opt to stay somewhere else.
