Vinifera Ephesus Hotel

Excellent small family run hotel up in the hill of Selçuk. The view up to the sea is very nice.
The rooms have a perfect size and their decoration is beautiful. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. It seems brand new while it has been opened 6 years ago.
The best part is the restaurant. Portions are quite small but very tasty and sophisticated.
The breakfast is really excellent: the presentation, the quality of the products. We really enjoyed our stay there.
We first make the mistake to go to Vinifera vineyards, where they make the vine. This hotel is 10 minutes farther, 5 minutes drive from Ephesus historical site.

Overall we had a good experience. We spent one night here after flying into ADB. The room we booked was very nice. The view was great! The only complaint was that the water did not get above luke-warm. Which was a bummer since we specifically booked the room with a big tub. That said, the breakfast was really great and I’d recommend this place to others.

beautiful boutique hotel a short taxi/bus journey to Ephesus. ideal for a romantic getaway but also adequate for families (we travelled as a couple with a 3 month old baby and a 3 year old) if you prefer a small quiet hotel rather than a resort. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel sits on a hill adjacent to Selcuk and has a beautiful view over the town. walking up and down is possible if you don’t mind the incline/decline. public bus into the town run every 20mins or so and cost 5tl per adult. taxi is 30tl. We stayed for 7 nights and used the hotel as a base to travel to Ephesus, Izmir (1 hour away and 800tl on taxi meter) and Kusadasi (20mins away).

The room with the spa bath is huge. we ended up not booking the room due to travelling with young children, but it would be worth the upgrade if travelling as a couple.

Cons:
no English language restaurant menu. not many sun loungers.

We enjoyed our stay at Nea Efessos! We traveled in the low-season and felt at home amongst the staff. The rooms are clean, the amenities were comfortable, and you can't beat the view! The hotel serves a traditional Turkish breakfast & the dinner menu is large (pasta, chicken, steak, pizza, etc) - despite other reviews stating dinner was not served at the hotel. I highly recommend!
