Akanthus Hotel Ephesus in Selcuk

Simple yet nice. I wish there’s more to offer at breakfast.

Very close to the Ephesus museum, cute European style hotel with impeccable service and breakfast. However amenities wise there are no tooth brush/tooth paste/body lotion, and king bed is two single beds joined together, so be mindful of that

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. It's welcoming, peaceful, an oasis. Staff are friendly and caring. I wasn't feeling well one of our days there and staff checked to see how I was and if I needed anything. They seem to make a point of spending time with their guests and getting to know them.
Breakfast was good with a variety of food. Location was good for tour and walking downtown.
We had to leave as we had reservations elsewhere, otherwise we would have extended our stay.

I had such a lovely stay at this boutique hotel — it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly welcome. The staff, who are part of the family that runs the hotel, were so friendly and kind. Their warmth really added a personal touch to the whole experience.

I was immediately struck by how beautifully the space was designed. The decor was modern but with a tasteful Turkish influence that made it feel both elegant and authentic. My room was cool and comfortable thanks to great air conditioning, and the bed was one of the comfiest I’ve slept in during my travels.

One of my favourite parts of each day was sitting by the pool and watching the sunset — the view was just stunning and made the whole place feel so peaceful and special. It’s an intimate space, never crowded, and perfect for relaxing.

The location was also really convenient. I found it easy to visit Ephesus and the Temple of Artemis, and the staff were full of helpful suggestions for places to eat, local sights, and travel tips.

Overall, I had an excellent experience. I felt truly looked after, and the hotel itself was beautiful and restful. I’d absolutely stay again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, peaceful stay with a personal touch!

This was our favorite hotel during our trip to Turkey 😊Over the past two days, our overall impression of the hotel has been: peaceful, comfortable, professional, and sincere.

The room was tidy, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We arrived at the hotel quite late, and we are especially grateful to the lovely girl at the reception
desk who waited for us and greeted us warmly.

Since it’s the off-season now, there were very few guests, and it seemed like we were the only ones staying here over the past two days. However, the hotel still provided us with a buffet breakfast and maintained a clean swimming pool, which truly showed their dedication and attention to detail.

Thank you to all the staff! And thank you, Ephesus, for giving us such wonderful memories!

Definitely one of the best home stay in Turkey, gives you the home away from home vibes, absolutely love it!

Hotel and a good location but hard to find there are no amenities except the swimming pool which was not usable for the season. Breakfast was OK and the staff are very helpful and friendly. They offer laundry service, but the charges is relatively high parking was available on the street outside the hotel.

This place is amazing, my wife and I usually don’t stay at boutique hotels. This was our first time and it truly has a different feeling, very well Kept everything was up to par. People were great. Location is good very cozy. We did not wanna leave.
