I stayed at this hotel during my trip to Safranbolu and overall, it was a good experience. The price was very affordable — around 1,000 TL (about $25 USD), which is a great deal for the location and basic comfort offered.
The hotel is situated in a very convenient area, close to the historical center and within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and shops. The room was clean and simple, with all the essentials you would need for a short stay. The staff were friendly and helpful.
However, the only downside was that in the early morning, there were some renovation works going on in the building. There was noise from tools and construction, which made it hard to rest or sleep in. It wasn’t mentioned in advance, and I wish I had been informed when booking.
If you're a light sleeper or plan to relax in the mornings, this could be an issue. But if you're an early riser and mostly out exploring, it may not bother you much.
All in all, it’s a good budget option with a great location and price. Just be aware of potential noise in the mornings due to maintenance.

I had the opportunity to stay for 2 days. We specifically chose a guesthouse this time. It met our needs perfectly. The room was ideally sized, and everything was very clean. It was very close to the market. The hotel was in a quiet and peaceful area. We felt a homey warmth. As someone who travels frequently, our hotel is now ready whenever we come to Karabük. We would like to thank Emine Hanım for her hospitality.

We went as 2 families on September 30th to stay for 2 days, but when the lady who runs the hotel asked if we were tired from the road and would like a coffee, we said yes, but while we were sipping our coffees, she put the bill receipt on the table, which was a complete disgrace and we gave up staying at that hotel. To those who are going to go, coffee is not complimentary, it is charged.

First of all, we'd like to thank them for their friendly smiles. Cleanliness and hygiene were absolutely paramount. It's a pleasant environment perfect for family gatherings. We'd also like to thank them for their pleasant conversation.

I'm writing this review from the balcony of our hotel room... After exploring the market, we're enjoying ourselves on the balcony of our room, which was arranged thanks to Ms. Mine's kindness... You can walk to the market in 5 minutes. The surroundings are quiet, peaceful, and serene. Our room was a good size. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. We felt like we were at a friend's house, not a hotel. Ms. Mine and her mother are very friendly and warm people. We stayed in many hotels during our trip, perhaps some were more spacious and comfortable, but there's a different atmosphere and peace here... Since the owners live downstairs, it felt like we were visiting relatives.
We would have been even more pleased if there had been a bottle of water in the room and the sheets had been softer.
I would come again and recommend it to everyone 🌺
