Gaia Beach Hotel

We liked the sea, the rooms and the food, we did not worry about the small problems. The sea is clean and is not close to a public beach. .it was closed this year. You can only go to take advantage of the beach.

We went in early July 2021. A hotel where you can stay by the sea on the Black Sea coast close to Istanbul. Of course, it cannot be compared with the hotels and resorts in the south. However, a few days can be spent with good weather and sea. The room they gave us was a completely renovated, clean, sea view, balcony, air-conditioned led TV, mini bar, safe, hair dryer mk, etc.; We were very satisfied with the room. However, the common areas are not well-maintained, they need to be renewed and arranged. For example, there are no hangers and lights in the locker cabinets, you can walk on the sand and there is no faucet in front of them. All non-alcoholic beverages at meals, tea, coffee, fruit juice, soft drinks are included in the full board concept. As a main course, there are a few options such as a chicken and a turkey meal, as well as pasta, rice, potatoes, mash, nougat, and unfortunately it is necessary to wait in line as it is served from one place. Salads, appetizers, fruits are good, desserts are insufficient, there is only sugar pare, pudding and kadaif. There is no butter or cream at breakfast except becel margarine, breads are mostly stale. Its private beach by the sea is sand on a concrete platform. However, the pier, beach bar, snack bar and part of the beach on the left as seen in the pictures belong to a different business and are paid: 50.-tl + extras per person. Hotel customers can only enter and exit the sea from a single staircase. The staff is fine, nothing negative. For the price the food should be better. Beach towels are not provided due to the pandemic, there are no mattresses on the sun loungers.
