Ale Boutique Hotel in Antalya

Stayed at this hotel after the other hotel Ale Park Hotel Apartments was under refurbishment and being renovated.
This hotel was in a good location. Cafe a few doors away. Next to a a couple of supermarkets. Also near a traditional Turkish restaurant and home made food called 'Trabzon Ekmek and Pide'. Also opposite a nice big mosque too.
Konyaalti beach was only a short away and street of shops and eating places.
We went end of April. Unfortunately the swimming pool was not open, only open from June onwards. Even though the weather was still hot and nice.
The hotel apartment room came with balcony. Also kitchen area had washing machine too which was needed with 2 young children.
Lounge and bedroom was good size, spacious. The TV had working channels and I watched the champions league on TRT channel there.
Even though had initial bad experience. Issues were acknowledged and resolved with ease. If I was to come again to I would probably stay in this hotel again possibly.

I, like many others, relied on the reviews when booking hotels, so here is my bit:

This hotel apartment is one of a few that are listed on booking dot com, as apparently this type of accommodation is usually listed on another local website (do your research).

We arrived very late and called the number they had on the door and were checked in in about 10 minutes. All was smooth, and the gentleman was helpful and spoke good English.

We lived on the fourth floor, which was a little bit of a hassle, having two children and a pram. I figured they seemed to accommodate families on the upper floors and single people (groups) on the lower floors. It might be related to the disturbance and the sound, but it’s only a guess.

The pool would typically be empty, though younger singles usually get out after the sunset.

The room was quite soundproof - we could hear neighbours in the common areas but not inside the room.

The room itself could do with higher cleaning standards - I.e. dust under the bed and in the corners but nothing more to really worry about unless you like a place to be spotless.

Hob was very old and would take ages to heat up - no stir fry for those who like it that way.

There is a decent selection of cutlery, pots, pans and plates, no little spoons for tea, and knives need sharpening - again, not crucial.

There was a dishwasher, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and a washing machine for about 5kg load.

AC better be checked - it was hardly cooling in the living space and was leaking outside on the balcony.

A residential cat lives on the premises, so make sure you pick a pouch of cat food or ham for him- he will appreciate it.

Wifi was weak at times.

The staff was friendly and helpful; some would not speak English, and other would speak English and Russian.

Supermarkets 2 mins away with essentials, meat, milk, alcohol.

A better supermarket (Tivak) with everything we need is about 8 minutes walk.

Overall, it’s a decent place to stay- the street is quiet and pleasant. There is a good coffee shop just near it where you can work indoors or outdoors. A playground is two minutes away.

BTW - it is not correctly located on Google maps-use the street view to fond it as it's on the other street. It causes a bit of confusion to taxi drivers as they all tend to take you to the next road.

Nobody speaks English. I booked appartment with balcony, but received it only after long discussions . Some Russian woman helped us to talk. Finally appartment was very good, all is new and clean.
