I had a lovely stay in this old house, built around a square courtyard and owned by a Turkmen family. Tucked away from the bustle of the bazaar in the heart of the old town, it felt like a little world of its own.
The owner was cheerful, funny and incredibly helpful despite our language barrier. When they learned I was hungry during check-in, they even fed me homemade kebab.
I stayed in the cheapest room on the ground floor, but thoroughly enjoyed the antique artefacts and little dedications that came with it. A memorable stay full of character. Teşekkürler!

Fantastic stay at very central location. This place managed by a guy called Huseyin and he was very helpful to me. From local recommendations to which food to try and so on. I was visiting Gaziantep during off-season and I am very satisfied with my visit at Asude Konak, I would stay here next time I visit this city!

Konum olarak her yere 450 metre olan bir konak. Çok uzatmaya gerek olmadan sunu söyleyebilirim ki gonul rahatlığıyla tatilinizi yapabilirsiniz.

Asude Konak is tucked away in a quiet location, but only a few steps away from the hustle and bustle of the old city of Gaziantep with its castle, bazaars and restaurants. The building itself is around 135 years old, and was a small Ottoman mansion. There are four bedrooms that have been constructed within the building. The welcome was warm and friendly, and within just a few minutes I was sitting by the log burner enjoying chai and fresh fruit with Huseiyne and other guests. Huseiyne is an excellent host, and was always ready to help with suggestions of where to visit and eat - there are many options within a few minutes walk. The rooms are charming and full of character and are comfortable with good wifi, a refrigerator and air con., the shower rooms are perfectly adequate, and cleanliness was good throughout. Outside there is a lovely courtyard to sit out in when the weather is warm enough. I could not fault Asude Konak in any way. My visit was perfect with fantastic hospitality and kindness from everyone involved, Huseiyne, Nijil and Tessa. Would I come here again? Absolutely 100%, yes.

Beautiful historic property with some original Ottoman-era elements. My room was very clean with nicely updated private bathroom. Host was very kind and made my stay feel like I was staying with friends.

it was very bad experince we visited the place to take lunch
after 15 min they put the menu and went away , we told them we want to take lunch in the un coverd area they told us the area is not ready it was 5: 15 pm !!!!! when i asked what time it ll be ready they said maybe one or two hours !!!!!!!

Wonderfull place to dine. Tales of the past all over you. Quiet with Turkish cousine variety.
Try the grill meat plate collection...and some mazzah.
Simply perfect for friends, don't bring kids around, as there is only a small play ground for them. You will end up feeling upset about how bad they feel, eventually forget the above...
