Sharjah International Airport Hotel in Sharjah City

Not a bad hotel for the price. It's close to the airport, which is super convenient for long layovers. It's a simple, affordable hotel with minimal services, perfect for one night.

- 1. Despite being close to airport there is no way to get there on foot. The highway blocks the path and any pedastrial routes are nonexistent. You have to take taxi to get there its about 30 AED. 2. The air in the room was stuffy and smelled either of tabacco smoke or artificial leather.

Lower your expectations! This is simply the cheapest option if you’re looking for a place close to SHJ. Otherwise, the experience was quite disappointing.

The room I booked didn’t have a kettle or an iron as listed on the website. The bathroom’s “warm” water was yellow, with sand and dirt coming from the sink. I asked them to fix it, but they preferred to move me to another room, which had the same issue, just a lighter shade of yellow. I couldn’t take a proper shower or even wash my face.

The TV was broken, and when it did work, there were only three channels, a broken remote, and poor signal. The internet was okay, but not fast.

On the positive side, the staff were kind and helpful. The receptionist also allowed a late checkout (2 hours extra), which I appreciated. However, there was a strange smell in the hallways, likely from nearby Indian food.

I would only recommend this place for a very short stay if you’ll be out most of the day and just need a bed and air conditioning.

The hotel is old and the furniture is old.   The bath room is dirty and full of ants.
